Micky you had a chance for a free education. Noones fault your poor but your own. Mexican goverment is coprrupt like many say and don't care for the low class citzens. They have welfare here for people like you, you know.

Absolutely. Legally if possible. Ilegally if needed. People need to realize that crossing the border legally isn't take a test, ask to come in , then you're in. Most people have to wait at the very least, 2 years until you can come over. If you want to let your family starve, go ahead and cross the legal way. I'm not here to support illegal immigration, i'm just saying that you have to do what you have to do.

I rarely have a dollar in my pocket after rent, medical bills and expenses, I can't afford a car either but you don't see me running to another country and breaking the law. I'm working poor and I don't need criminals making it worse.

Excuse me but no, don't give me this crap about I chose to be poor. I had a scholarship but had to drop out to care for my dying grandmother. I've tried repeatedly to get help to go back to college and because i'm not a minority there is no fund for me.
People like me? WTF is that, you want me to go on welfare?
First off welfare doesn't give people even close enough to survive on. Second off, i'm able to work and even though it's not a high paying college degree job I still take pride in it thank you very much so get off your snobby high throne and step down here with the rest of us to get a good wiff of reality little girl.

I have more class in my little finger than you'll ever have. The only thing you've shown today is all *** by talking trash about my dead grandmother. It's obvious that mommy and daddy gave you everything but what a shame they failed you so miserably. All you ended up really getting was a plastic world and a black heart.

I agree with you that most people are trying to make a better life for their children and themselves. As a nation we cannot absorb all of the worlds poor and oppressed peoples.
First of all we don't have the jobs or the resources to do that! Should we just let in tens of millions of people every year and have no control of our own borders? We would become just like them, a poor overcrowded 3rd world country We need to have control of our immigration, especially in a world of violent terrorists.

What we should do is help as much as we can to make those poorer countries prosperous. Help them to develop their own thriving economies, to create jobs for their own people. Democracy, free enterprise, and capitalism will solve their problems. Unfortunately most of the poorer 3rd world is run by dictators and thugs who are only out to make themselves rich at the expense of their own people.

Your heart is in the right place, but you really need to think this through!

The chief of the loose international should not be chosen in accordance with who's male or lady. it is in accordance with who's a real chief (no longer feminist). Do you even know how many females have stimulated the develop of our usa? how many Governors are/have been women? Senators? Congresswoman making regulations? real, the super honor and distinction of President has no longer long previous to a women. in spite of the undeniable fact that, I fell this is one privilege that would not belong to Hillary. That belongs to a girl of sophistication, distinction, honor and dedication. a female relatively like Eleanor Roosevelt or Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis who might take the region with dignity. in case you experience so reliable, bypass to college, learn annoying, improve into political in touch and run for President. do in simple terms no longer do any Hillary's.

In a lot of those countries it only costs $1 or $2 a day to live.

BTW, I would make more if I as an American worked under the table, but the government would jail my *** for tax evasion if I did that. Maybe I should go get my Mexican citizenship and sneak back over the border!

Sure, if I had to do it to help my family survive, I would...even if it meant breaking a law. Do you know what I wouldn't do once I was there? I wouldn't wave a flag of a country that I didn't even see fit to live in. I wouldn't have a bunch of children that I can't support and expect American taxpayers to do it for me. I wouldn't demand people learn my language. I wouldn't protest for rights I don't deserve unless I am a citizen. I wouldn't commit crimes which could potentially get me deported. I wouldn't abuse social services. I certainly wouldn't whine when it was pointed out that I was in the wrong.
What I would do is be grateful to America for helping me out.

I'm sorry but that sounds just about what my life was like for many, many years. Right here in the good ole' USA. Poverty or below by national standards yet I think it was 10 bucks too much to qualify for food stamps or aid. I didn't get free child birth at the hospital or anything else. No free lunch or breakfast for my kids. Rented the cheapest places I could find and existed from day to day just like they are. It might surprise you but MANY people live like that.........and unlimited and uncontrolled illegal immigration has made the surviving worse for many by driving down the wages. And we are to thank them for that? Sorry if I'm not appreciative of that.

My house would rent for 1600 bucks a month here. Utilities run about 300. Milk is 3.50 a gallon, hamburger is 4.50 a lb. bread is over 2 bucks a loaf and eggs are 1.79 a dozen. Minimum wage here is 6.25 and few ever get full time work or benefits. Plus we pay taxes. 7 bucks for the bus. One way. Add it up.....doesn't allow much for much extra.....let alone what other basic needs crop up. Forgot..... 90 every 3 months for garbage. There's people working 2 and 3 jobs....7 days a week with no vacation either. Welcome to our working poor. Ones that don't get aid. Ones that still have to pay medical bills even though there's no money left. No....we're not living in cardboard boxes, drinking sewer water and eating grass but not everyone in the US is living in the lap of luxury either.

Why don't you get that just like in your story...."it's not there aren't jobs....there's just not jobs that pay enough to meet basic needs" is EXACTLY what the people here are complaining about!!! And then to have people come by the MILLIONS to take them isn't helping us one bit. It's making this country exactly like Mexico....a few rich and everyone else poor. Our cost of living isn't going down.....nothing is "cheaper" as a result of it. Rent is still going to go up whether you pick tomatoes for free or not. A 250.000 house is still going to cost 250.000 whether the builder paid 5 bucks an hour or 12 bucks an hour to have it built. The only thing it changes is how much profit he puts in his pocket and lowering our pay.

Everyone wants a "better life" but sorry if I don't agree with the idea that poverty allows you to break laws and take from others illegally to get it. We have millions of poor here and they aren't flooding over the Canadian or Mexican border to get a "better life".......by the MILLIONS. Dragging their kids and everything else to over-burden an entire country and drive down wages and bring in more corruption and DEMAND more "special" privaleges and rights than the citizens and make it harder for citizens to work in their own country because of "must speak Spanish" when they're just scraping by. Not to mention our own government wanting to increase legal immigration to bring in "CHEAP" labor to further drive down wages in other areas. We don't NEED more people. No.....all this is successfully doing is driving down our wages and quality of life to where you're going to end up exactly like where you ran from. No....not tomorrow but it will happen. Because there's gonna be too many people and not enough jobs to even try and make it anymore.

It is going to get a lot worse for those countries people if they don't learn some population control soon.

that is terrible but America has laws and everyone in the international community needs to respect that. I am sure most countries don't tolerate those who break laws and customs.

Of course I would.

It is not that most people are unable to see how hard it is in other countries, it is that they choose not to see. It is easier that way as the next step is realising that most third world countries are in the state that they are in because of the first world's greed. As most people in the first world do not want to accept any responsibility, most choose to remain ignorant!
