for white boys out there..?

do you prefer white girls or hispanic girls...i have a white boyfriend and i am hispanic, but he says he would not date a black girl even if she is light..he says that it makes him turn off.....he says he likes only white or latinos girls

I`m half white, and I would date a black girl. I usually date latina/asian girls though.

Not sure why this is in R&S . . . and while both white and *male* haven't been a "boy" in decades, lol . . .

But, anyhoo . . .

I'm not especially physically attracted to *most* black women, even nearly white ones like Tyra Banks and Halle Berry. Maybe it's my Southern upbringing, maybe it's just my innate understanding that the sociocultural realities of race relations in this country make white/black interracial relationships problematical at best. How honest could one's feelings be, how unguarded one's heart, how pure one's motivations, with all the baggage that comes with the history between those two particular races here? Their cultures are just too divergent, and too hostile toward each other, for such a relationship to be a good idea.

Love conquers all, sometimes. But not always, and sometimes you don't know it won't until it's too late.

However, to respond to your question . . . one of the great loves of my life was a Basque woman from Mexico. Extraordinary person, physically beautiful, infinite soul. Everyone else since has faced the insurmountable task of living up to her memory.

But overall I like redheads. :-)

I've a few of my friends who are white guys but refuse to date white girls. Even if they find them mildly attractive, they won't date them. One in particular will only date native girls. Don't get it, but each to his own, right?


Of course, I can't say much, my husband often gets mistaken for being hispanic even though he's not.

Different strokes for different folks.

Skin color shouldn't matter, but sometimes does.

In reality it is more of a cultural thing for me. I dated a black girl once, and found it difficult to fit in with her family. Family is important to me, so I learned that I would be better off 'typically' with whiteys.

I can't date southern white girls for the same reason though.

I like white girls and hispanice chicas. Some black girls I'd date but whenever I've flirted with black girls it's just too akward. Girls are girls, I don't really worry about race. They're all pink on the inside.

As for dating I prefer my own race. I would neither date a Latino an Asian or a black. If you consider me a raciest because of that then you are narrow minded.

I agree, I like only white hispanic, or asian girls. I dont know what it is. Something about picturing my potential kids not looking anything like me gets me creeped out.
