You can drive at age 17 (unless you are disbled when it is 16). You get a full licence by passing a test - this may be while you are still 17 or later - there is no age limit.

Since when can you get a provisional licence when you're 16? Unless you're disabled of course. Or intent on driving a tractor... You can get your full licence the same day as your provisional if you're clever! Well, not quite. You could take the test on your seventeenth birthday though, as long as you've already passed your theory test.

For a car it is 17, for certain restricted motorcycles it is 16.
Same age for both provisional and full license.

Prov at 16, full at 17. If you pass.
On the prov, you can't do a lot. 49cc bike with L plates on, and learn to drive in a car (With a fully qualified adult) and L plates on the car.

you need to be 17 before you can apply for a provisional car licence. once you've got this, its up to you when you pass your test.
