You can ask for DNA tests to be run ... but if you already signed the birth certificate, I'm guessing that you were 'in love' with this child's mother and have 'been the father' of this child in 'reality' for it's whole life. So ... WHY do you want to KNOW if you are it's father now? If the child has a health problem that could be genetic, or if you are trying to get out of paying child support could be only two of YOUR reasons ... but there are many judges who will 'order you' to pay child support simply because you 'accepted' this child as your own from birth ... so BE CAREFUL if you decide to take this route (and it's EXPENSIVE to have a DNA test done, by the way) ... and if you have been raising this child as your own and you love it ... THINK ABOUT THAT and also think about what that child will think if you aren't the 'biological father' too ...

Signing the birth certificate has nothing to do with if you can find out if you are the father of this child. You can find out if you are the father of this child even if you have signed the birth certificate. I think it is very important that you find this out right away. You don't want to be involved in this babies life thinking that you are the father and you are not. Think about how hard this would be for this child that once it grew up calling you Dad all this time and then to find out that you really are not the father. I am seriously hoping you will find this out immediately.

You can still get a DNA test...even after signing the birth certificate...just because you've taken responsibility for the child doesn't mean that you can't still be curious as to whether or not the child is truly yours. Just be cautious when doin something like this...you might offend someone and ruin any sort of relationship you may have with the mother...

Look at the bottom of the birth certificate and look in the block marked signature. Oh you want to know if you are the father of the baby not if you signed the birth certificate. Ah a paternity test would work.

A blood test. But now that you have signed the certificate, it may be harder to get out of paying support. Most courts don't care if you are not the real father. They just care that someone is there to pay for the baby and you signed the cert, so that makes you the dad.

Just have a paternity test even though you signed the birth certificate you are not liable for the child if it turns out not to be yours.

ok this is an issue i have dealt with, you need to go to court and request to have "paternity acknowledgement" they order dna test and stuff like that, but also remember if it comes out that you are the father that means you have to be financially responsible for the child (child support) which in turns would also grant you right to visitation and stuff like that

Tell your wife or girlfriend that you are taking him to the park. Then take him to the hospital and get a DNA blood test. If he is not yours, then you are not responsible, unless you still love him. Then continue to be his father. Being a father is not limited to blood.
