"God" didn't give anybody anything. The care for polio came about by scientific experimentation . Cancer is well on the way. I personally have had prostate cancer, skin cancers, and colon polyp cancer - - - but here I sit.
Cures for the other things might or might not be found, but whatever - - "god" will have nothing to do with it.

Yeah really. And it's the same Christians that are refusing to allow stem cell research which could help find a cure for the common cold, cancer, and possibly even AIDS.

The answers are there. In each century, newer diseases will come upon us.
Scientists and researchers have made great strides in cancer research as well as drug development for AIDS and MS. You are looking at the glass as half-empty. God has supplied all we need to find the answers, including our brains to get it done.

God gave man the ability to create and sometimes cure disease. He gave us intelligence. But what good is intelligence without wisdom. God gives us the WISDOM to make WISE choices. If we seek it. Instead man is left to his own minuscule intellectual capability. In attempts to solve problems that only increase in complexity because of this lack of wisdom. Like war, racism, poverty, and disease.
MD, AIDS, and colds are the way of this world - for now. These are temporary things that will pass. Man CHOSE (and not a wise choice) to sin. Because of our disobedience, we no longer live in a perfect world. Now we have the choice (very wise choice) to live in the world to come.
What good would it do to cure every disease known to man if he can't overcome the disease of his heart. If man continues in his moral depravity. It will only get worse for us here. Like it or not. Regardless of our scientific knowledge and so-called intellectual prowess.
These things will pass at the coming of Christ. And those who have made wise choices will see.
God bless

There will be a cure.
It appears you got the answers you were looking for. I always find great humor in the answers by non Christians to questions on how the Christian feels or believes.

God gave us a way to learn all that. He gave us Science, and He gave us brains to think with. We just haven't gotten there yet. We have to keep plugging away to find the answers. And we have to stop fighting about what's acceptable to try and what isn't. We have to try everything we can......INCLUDING stem cell research.

I believe its greed. There are probably advances in those areas, but to declare a cure one loses his funding.

Why is everyone blaming God??He gave us everything that is good.
Man has knowledge and with that knowledge has come up with chemicals, pesticides, food processes that make glow in the dark stuff we eat, strange things we feed to the animals then we eat the animals, etc. etc.
WE MADE THE POISON.
Technology...Like a little kid who messed up the room, we expect someone else to clean it up...

God has proclaimed that we all must die of something. If He enables us to eradicate all illnesses, that leaves only accidents and murder as a means of death -- so be careful of what you wish for.
