Maybe something came up. He remember a customer, or a family plan that must take the weekend. Monday seems better for you. This friday the interviewer just would have been desperate to bail and go do whatever they had in mind. You would had run the risk of them not even listening to your story. Monday, they come in fresh, and you can eat their brain out. Good luck with your interview!!

Business people often have very busy schedules, and are often trying to fit in some important meetings with other very busy business people. Most likely reason is the interviewer needs to meet with someone and this is the only time they can meet. It's unlikely that it has anything to do with the job you're interviewing for, so don't worry and just be on your best game when you do go for your interview.

Whoever was going to interview you is busy. Is out sick. Got called to an emergency meeting. Was already double booked.
Sure, there might be more negative reasons. But if they're looking to reschedule for later or Monday... I'm sure it was a scheduling problem.
Say "No problem." And good luck!

Yes that is fine, no worries, the hiring manager probably had an unscheduled meeting or was running late themselves. I have scheduled many interviews for my boss and it didn't have an effect on the outcome of an interview- as long as they are the ones doing the re-scheduling.

A couple of week is a long time. You need to contact someone ASAP, even if it's the HR person. Maybe the job is filled already. If you do send an email, I wouldn't mention that he'd said he would re-schedule. To him it might just look like you procrastinated and should have reschedule with HR (who usually deals with such things). Your missing the appt would probably be seen as a negative, even if it wasn't technically your fault. I'd try something like Dear so-and-so, I'm writing to inquire if the position of blah-blah is still open. I am still quite interested and would apprectiate the opportunity to discuss the position in detail for you to determine if I am the right candidate for the position. Please contact me at your earliest convenience.

Maybe that haven't had a chance to check your references.
The HR scheduled too many interviews.
The interviewing supervisor could of had a death in the family.
The person you are interviewing with ate Taco Bell and got a bad case of the squirts.
There are at least 585,465,353 reason. I wouldn't dwell on it!

This is most likely just a schedule conflict. Don't worry about it. Use the weekend to become even better prepared for the interview.

-One of the interviewers was out sick, in a car accident, had a baby, etc.
-A schedule conflict came up
-They want to include another interviewer while you're in, and that person isn't available at the scheduled time
Since they still want to interview you, and only pushed it out by a little bit, it's not a big deal.

you re a suspicious fellow aren't you. Well...
I get the feeling that someone had the runs. Yes, I am almost sure, say 98% sure.
How about the interviewer had the runs and was not in to interview you??
Perhaps his dog had the runs so they were both at the Vet's??

It could be for a number of reasons. I would not think of it as a bad thing. I have had to call people to reschedule their interview time. It had nothing to do with them - just had to rearrange my schedule. No worries....
