Ok, so Christianity is a Monotheistic religion right? Where there is ONE god. But i learned in church there is the holy trinity, the father, the son and the holy spirit, and then in some areas people worship mary, the mother of god...Also, theres alot of confusion of your praying to Jesus or God..because theres a difference, jesus is the Son of God, so who are you worshiping, who is the ultimate diety and why does your Monotheistic religion include 4 dieties?

Catholics especially worship mary- Hail mary's for example, they repent to mary to forgive their sins. Hispanic cultures are also very into worshiping mary.
And how can the father and the Son be the same person, isnt that Incest?

catholisism is man made?!?!?! HA HA HA! Oh thats grand. ALL religions are man made, and the Catholic church is the Christian church. Do you people not know your History? At one point in time the Catholic church was just the Church, and it was ALL called Christianity. Eventually it broke into different sects, such as Lutherin by Martin Luther. Your a fool, a raging idiot.

God Bless you for your question...
I understand your confusion. The idea of the Trinity is one of the harder ones for the human mind to wrap itself around. No analogy is sufficient to explain it adequately, and it is just one of those mysteries that we poor finite minds will have to wait until we stand in His awesome glory to figure out completely. Let me just say this regarding the Trinity--there is only ONE God, He is represented in THREE persons, and those persons have distinct roles. God--the Father, is the One who plans and controls time and destiny. He is the thinker. Jesus Christ--the Son, is the actor of the Father's plans. He was the active agent in the creation, He came to earth and died for our sins. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. The Holy Spirit--the counselor, guides and instructs our heart, was the assisting agent in the creation, and lives within every believer.
They are all God. They individually are completely God, separate entities but wholly God. And God is one. There are NOT three Gods. There is only ONE God, existing in three forms.
I know this is confusing, and hard to understand, but the Scriptures clearly show this to be true. You will not find a specific quote stating "trinity". But by looking at the Bible as a whole, this is a very easy thing to see.
As far as worshipping "mother Mary", there is a major Christian denomination that worships (prays to) Mary and other "saints". I believe they are mistaken for doing so. The only personage we are to pray to is God--Jesus--Holy Spirit, who are ONE. Time and again in the Bible, we are warned to only offer prayers and worship to GOD--no other is worthy of praise, and no other can hear our prayers. Is that a heretical sin, or is it blasphemy? That I don't know---I am not in a position to judge. All I know is what the Bible teaches--and when asked "how should we pray?" Jesus (GOD) replied "OUR FATHER..." Note He did not say "Mother Mary" or "Saint Michael"...That is all I have to go on.
God Bless you, and I hope this helps.
One more time for clarity's sake--THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD, existent in three persons--each wholly God yet distinct.

Christianity is a Monotheistic religion. First of all, nobody should be worshiping Mary. Those that worship Mary misunderstand what Christianity is all about. Sadly, you see this a lot in my own religion, Catholicism.
The Trinity is part of doctrine, but all three make up God: Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit. I personally don't pray to Jesus, that's (a little) like calling one leaf of a shamrock the entire thing. I pray to the Trinity, to God.
It's always been my understanding that Jesus provides a way to reach the Father through the Holy Spirit anyway. So if people are gonna be dividing God (Which I believe is wrong), they should be praying to the Father, especially considering that's who Jesus prayed to every time he prayed in the bible.

Father, son and Holy Ghost..all one thing. God is Jesus. God IS the Father and Jesus the son, but Jesus is the living God. And, misinformed people often think that some Christians, like Catholics, worship Mary. They do NOT. They "consult" Mary..like during a wedding ceremony..like asking for great children such as her son..kind of like, "Hey..put in a good word for me." They don't worship her..she was only the host, not the Messiah.

I believe in God The Father-God The Son-God The Holy Spirit-Mary the mother of Jesus is special because God saw that she was good with a pure heart and he chose her to Bring Jesus into the world in a human form and to be his mother. Also he choose Joseph to be Jesus earthly father. Mary was a virgin and she became pregnant with a child of The Holy Ghost.. An Angel of The Lord appeared to him in a dream.saying ,Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary, thy wife;for that which is conceived in her is of The Holy Ghost.

The Trinity is One God. Jesus is the 2nd hypostasis of that One God who became human without ceasing to be God.There is only One GodWho is Eternal Love and therefore, has to be One Being but more than one Person. Trinitarianism is as monotheistic as any other monotheistic religion.
As for me,I worship the One Eternal God of Love, the Trinity

God is a triune being. We were created in God's image, and are triune beings also - spirit, soul, and body. The Bible tells us that the Lord our God is one God.
Mary is the mother of Jesus and is glorified in the Catholic religion; however, Catholicism is a man-made religion, and Mary was never intended to be worshiped.

Praying to Mary is not a Christian practice... it ia a practice instituted by those controling the Roman catholics.
Those of The True Christian Faith do pray to Jesus and in Jesus' name... as we are instructed by God that we may do... but... While we prase and thank Jesus for His sacrifice, All worship is directed towards God...

No Christian religion worships Mary, at least not to my knowledge.
The Holy Trinity represents three parts of the same being. There is only one God.
