Society can be narcisstic, but it can also be very good. It's just the people that are in it that make it one way or the other. Out of the four you mentioned, I would have to say God because when it comes down to it, He's the one that it's going to ultimately matter on what you've done in your life. Besides, if you desire to please God the most, then your lifestyle should end up pleasing yourself, your family, and society.

Yes, I please God by staying in his will although I am not always
completely on target....After all it is faith and obedience to his will for your life that is most important to your salvation...That does not mean that you wont have some glitches or failures but it should build character and make you stronger with each trial and tribulation...
Today's society is somewhat ruthless ..The desensitization of our youth is an eye opener , but I think they need to be exposed to some of it and also educated as to what is right and wrong! Children will test the waters that surround what they have learned and rightfully so ..... Hopefully the good that was learned by them supersedes the negative at some point in their lives...
You can teach your children about Yeshua (God) but don't be dismayed if they turn from it for a season... We all have free will and choices to make... In saying that we can only hope that the affects of our society today doesn't demoralize them to the point of no return.......

God
People today care about self first.
Many churches today have coward to the PC agenda and teach what is acceptable to the worldly view and not the bible truth.
Jesus is the way the truth and the life no man comes to the Father but by Him.

yes i see the world is all about ones self anymore
BUT GOD SAID TO US THIS
John ii.15. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the wold, the love of the Father is not in him.
Negatively. The love of the world here spoken of, is not every kind or degree of desire for worldly objects. God has so constituted us, that a certain amount, and certain kinds of worldly objects, are indispensible to our existence. We need food and raiment, implements of husbandry and trade, and various worldly things. The proper desire of which is not sinful, nor inconsistent with the love of God.
But to love the world, is to make worldly things the principal objects of desire and pursuit.
To love them, and desire them more than to love God and man, to be more anxious to obtain them, and spend more time in their acquisition, than in efforts to glorify God, and save the souls of men, is to love the world in the sense of the text. Where the love of God and of men is supreme in the heart, understand?
John here tells us that the love of the world thrusts the love of God out of our hearts

If I'm honest - I desire to please myself the most. I think it's in line with our common culture - look at all the advertisements for proof. Rarely do you see an advertisement that reads "buy this product because it will make someone else very happy." So I think it's appropriate to call our society narcissistic.
Though I desire to please myself the most, I aim to please God and I know it pleases Him to help others. It's all about discipline and love.

We were created to glorify and please God, however, with our sinful nature, it can be all about me, myself and I. I desire, because of the salvation I have in Christ, to please God the most. I love my family- but God does come first- confession, time here - sometimes I don't always live that way. David , was called a man after God's own heart, and he still failed to please God 100% of the time, as we all know-that story. However, I desire to put Christ first. The world lives their lives for their pleasure- that has happened for thousands of years- that is why as a Christian- I may live in this world, but I am not of it. That means my greatest desire is to please God first. And when I fail, I pray I quickly repent and start pleasing Him again.
