I get revenge by hacking into their computers, and stealing their personal and financial information.

I want to know the answer to that as well. I don't think you can. How do you know anyone has reported you?
If someone reported you, they HAVE to give a reason for it.
I think that when you report someone, you have to fill out something and say why.
Can you find out who gave you a thumbs down?
Bueller? Bueller? Anyone? Anyone?

It is tough.
Watch for people that add you as a contact with a low level account that really don't hang here. And make your Questions and Answers private. That will keep them from reporting month old questions.

For starters, don't do anything that can get you reported. If you did nothing wrong you should be able to appeal it.
But if you, for example, post questions about reporting in a religion section then you really can't argue that can you?

You can't unless you luck out and they actually tell you.
There's some instinct too, when someone just smells like a report monkey. But that can go wrong.

Be careful of people you've never heard of making you their contact. Specially if the account is extremely new.
If you've never seen somebody who has made you a contact, and if the account is extremley new, I would block him or her.

Well you've made your q&a private so that should have stopped it. Short of blocking everyone here, there's really no way of knowing who this person would be. I'm sorry this is happening to you.

Anyone who blocks me, I block.
Anyone who sends me a nutty fundy email, I block.
Anyone who answers my question enraged and mentions reporting, I block.
Anyone who posts a question threating to report people, I block.

i get reported all the time for the dumbest things which aren't even offensive. some people just have nothing to do.
