yeah bay isn't a very good director i must say but i came in looking for a fun movie, and i enjoyed it. my best friend in la is working with the makers of grindhouse as an intern and is a hardcore movie critic, and thank freakin god he wasn't there to burst my bubble

When I heard Michael Bay was directing I groaned inward. However, a hack he may be but his over-the-top no-story style of directing did work.
Which really shouldn't have been surprising, after all, transformers was a series specifically created to sell toys.
Still, it was fun to watch. The 8-year old kid in me was satisfied.
