Scenerio: One room, 50 Woman, 200 Men, Why would one woman always get over looked and never talked to?

Question

For example: Social Event...Men out weight the women. All the men and the woman are of the same kind of society and all appear in features of apperance are an 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. Why would any of these men not approach her and talk to her atleast or worse not make a connection with any of the men in the room? (No wedding Rings On So please don't use that as an excuse). Play along nicely please I am very interested in seeing everyone's Serious Answers!

It´s not about appearance but I think we all (men and woman) emante a certain chemistry and when what he wants is what she gives and vice versa, then the "chemical connection" is produced and both parts are willing to meet each other...I think it´s all about chemistry.....So it doesn´t really matter if you dress up sexy or whatever,
there has to be a chemical connection in order for 2 people to want to meet.....and if they have the same interests, then they´ll hook up, or if they are totally opposite, they´´ll attract and also hook up.
So if inside, deep down inside, you are not available or don´t want to open up to new people,
then no make up will cover this, you will be showing signs of this not wanting to open up
even though you won´t notice this yourself, others will.....you have to really want to be approached and your body language will say the same......

I think because theirs always someone else the men think is better looking or more interesting. So a lot of the men could just be trying to talk to only a hand full of the women because the rest of the girls aren't interesting enough to approach. Or maybe because some of the guys doesn't have enough courage to approach a women to make an connection.

They may all be of the same social status and all on a scale of 8, however she may not have a pleasing appearence about her. If that is the case she wouldn't be an inviting person to speak with or hit on. Maybe she has a sour look on her face or is a shy individual in which both of those situations make it uncomfortable to approach her and makes her less appealing than the other people in the room.

Hi, it is a trick question dear girl. You see at least 5 of the 200 had tried some way or another to get this woman home or be alone with her. Why you might say, well. easy I say, men are "pigs" sorry to say, but I have been a musician on the road with everything from symphonic orchestra, to heavy rock band, and I know how a guy can act when he did not stop before he saw the bottom in the vodka bottle, lol, and no matter what, no girl I have seen through 30-35 years playing, have ever gone home alone. I am lying sorry, have gone home alone, but they have been in the center of the storm before closing time, every time. but this is what I have seen, have a nice summer, peace and love from Norway

it's possible that maybe she is displaying a persona or giving off body language that is closed off to the rest of the room. maybe the way she is standing or the look on her face is saying to all of the men in the room "don't come near me". she probably needs to work on her approachability as well as make an effort to seek out contact on her own. you can't always wait for a guy to approach you, sometimes you need to take the initiative and do it yourself (guys seem to like that too). also, it could be possible that none of the men find her attractive. while that is pretty unlikely since there are 200 men to 50 women, it could be possible...everyone has a certain type they are naturally attracted to.

She's short, with brown-hair, a little dumpy, she's smart, she's picky herself, and she's below the eye level of the majority of the room, who all happen to be 5'9" and over. She knows how to fish, how to drive a front-end loader, and drives a pickup truck. She was into country when everyone else was into classic rock or new wave, she was into grunge before it became grunge, she was into body-boarding when everyone else surfed. She's too down-to-earth for the snobs, and too clean and sensible for the slobs. She can cut through the crap and get to the truth in less than two minutes into a conversation, and she has no desire to be a one-night stand. She does not look like a supermodel or a Playboy Bunny, which is too bad, because hardly any guys tried to mmet her, and missed out on getting in to the Rose Bowl and the L.A. Colisuem for football games for free. Her husband, however, gave her a second look and now thinks she is the best thing that happened to him in his life.
I went to a dance where I was literally invisible because of all of the above. I guess I was just a fish out of water, an outdoor woman in a room full of office cubicle rats.

Because she twiddles her thumbs waiting for a guy to talk to her. I'm being completely serious. Many women have a bad habit of sitting and waiting. If you look through the answers here there are a lot of women who truly believe they should do nothing to get what they want.

And frankly what is it you wanted? Some 12 year old girl's fantasy where 10 guys swirl around you complimenting you and bringing you drinks. Sorry Cinderella you have to get out of the corner and say something.

If you want something and you say nothing then you can only blame yourself when you don't get it.

same reason birds fly into windows- they can't see what's in front of them... but seriously some people just give off a vibe that they don't want to be approached, when you find this happening to you, you have to take the initiative. maybe speak to the women if you are not comfortable being so assertive. people like people who look like they are fun/interesting. the best way to appear so is to strike up a conversation with anyone

It all has to do with the way she presents herself. If she has her arms crossed she is closed off to the people in the room. If she will not make eye contact then she doesn't want to get noticed. If she is in a corner then she is trying to blend in with the wall and again does not want to be noticed. If none of the above then all the men in the room are blind and she just hasn't bumped into them yet.
