If you have to ask, it's probably not a good idea.

Birth Control is NOT an effective means to ensuring you do not have a child. Just wander over to the pregnancy section and count how many women have had children while taking Birth Control. My Mother, being one of them.
If you feel something is wrong with having sex with your cousin, which you obviously do else you wouldn't be asking this then I will tell you to go with your better Judgment.

There is nothing wrong about it and NO, it's NOT incest. The "superstition" is due to the fact that - *IF* there is some kind of genetic defect in the family - you two will double the chances of having children who will inherit it. There are four (4) couples of cousins married within my family, they all have children and have had no problems. Their children are very healthy. If you are not sure about your genetic history, go to a geneticist and have some tests done. But, again, there is nothing wrong about it!

Incestuous behavior, or sexual intimacy between you and another member of your family is illegal. There are laws prohibiting it because even though there is birth control to terminate or prevent a pregnancy, there are chances of a child being produced.

If your family tree doesn't branch, you'll end up with many recessive traits. Many diseases are carried through recessive traits such as hemophilia.

It's dangerous and can cause a lot of family problems down the line to have sexual intercourse with your family members, especially if a child were accidentally produced.

Weren't you the one who was earlier asking about having sex in front of your child? So are you a troll, or do you honestly want to have sex with your cousin in front of a baby?

What state do you come from???

no thats considered incest and why have sex with cousin in the first place? having sex would only lead to an emotional and sexual attachment/attraction. there are plenty of other fish in the sea. so avoid incest and use your money that you would spend on birth control for either on a matchmaker or a therapist.

My guess is that your parents were related before they got married, so why not keep up the family tradition?
