I would consider trying it. It would depend on the type of toothpaste flavoring the ice cream had, is it vanilla, orange or, mint to decide what the public is really into. Give it a go, I say, you can't knock it till you try it!! *u*

Well have you ever tried green tea ice cream? In our minds the toothpaste flavor we feel is not edible, but if the flavor was never the flavor of toothpaste, then it would probably make a great ice cream flavor. Does that make any sense? I say give it a shot.

I worked at an ice cream parlor when i was in high school and we had creme de menthe ice cream. I thought it was too minty. A friend of mine liked it and she had me make her a milkshake using it. It tasted like a mouthwash milkshake. It was really gross. But she loved it.
I like mint chocolate chip ice cream in small doses. I don't think a toothpaste flavored ice cream will go over very well. People eat ice cream as a treat and I don't think many people see brushing their teeth as a treat. Wouldn't want to mix the two....

Why not?

Ever had Jones Soda in some of its odd flavors: turkey, peas, bread, potato?

Anyway...

I'm willing to bet that "toothpaste flavor" is really wintergreen or some other mint. And what's really wrong with "mint" ice cream?

They have different types of flavoring for toothpaste, more to attract kids to encourage brushing. My sister is a hygienist, and she has different flavor polishes, from strawberry , chocolate , mint , bubblegum. If it promotes good brushing habits , why not?

thats not a good idea at all. I mean when you brush your teeth and then you drink or eat something it tastes like crap...why make a ice cream flavor out of something like that?
