In a wire (the positive), if i am correct, is where you put the resistor. However, does it matter which way the resistor is facing on a wire, such as 4th line comes first before the other lines.

no if it was a diode hoever it would matter

Resistors direction does not matter at all. Even the self inductance and capacitance will stay unchanged.

In sensitive high frequency applications how long the leads are and many other factors create significant problems but still, the direction does not matter from a functional perspective.

If I have a series of resistors, I like to organize them so they are positioned in the same manner. This is purely cosmetic though.

there is no wrong way to install a resistor, the color bands just tell you the amount of resistance that particular resistor will provide. try measuring it with a mulitmeter. it is the same both ways. You are confusing the resistor with the diode. The diode is checkable with a multimeter as well when you finally get a reading with the positive or red lead that is the end of the diode that you want to install going to the power wire.

No, it doesn't matter. It's all the same inside.
