Granted, it is alleged that Satan and his following amongst the angels sinned and continue to sin. But the angels who remained loyal to God do not sin and never sin.

The fact that Satan and his following rebelled demonstrates they have Free Will.

If God could design Angels with Free Will and who never sin, why couldn't he design humans with Free Will who never sin?

I know it is a mystery
We are natural beings living in a natural world
Angel of course are supernatural
We were made good very good in fact until sin entered the world by the fallen angels through our first parents and it engendered a multitude of generation to share in that effect of disobedience and pride just as our children share in the effects of our sins

It makes more sense if you think of it in terms of people defining sin to be that which makes us wonderfully flawed people. The way sin is defined makes natural feelings like lust, envy, pride, and self reliance evil and bad. All of these things can make life bad if they're not kept in check. Telling people to completely eliminate such things just makes them miserable and hypocritical. Nobody can live up to ideals of perfection, and the world would probably be very dull if they did. Christianity makes people afraid of thinking the wrong things, saying the wrong things, or showing their own humanity. Breaking free of that fear makes life much more livable. I feel sorry for those sinless angels. They must be bored out of their minds sitting around singing hymns and being perfect. I wouldn't trade places with any of them and give up the adventure of living in a world with good, bad, and in between.

Angels are holy beings without the concious of a sinner, but with that of a saint out to do the work of the lord. While humans on the other hand are born into sin. Biologically natural

He did, Until Satan Deceived them.
Before Adam and Eve rebelled against God, They never sinned because they had no knowledge of Evil.
If left that way, they would have never sinned, however satan deceived them and lied to them and they listened to him, as a result mankind fell.
Why did adam and eve fall?
Some think that because they lacked a knowledge of evil they were ni'eve or gullable, and knew not of lying and deception, and fell into that trap.

You just answered your own question man. Because they have free will. That's the whole point. We can ask for forgiveness or we can continue to live a of sin. It's not that we never stop sinning, we were born sinners to begin with. All of us. Thank Adam and Eve for that.

actually there is a theory that Angels do NOT have free will; and that Satan's JOB is to tempt. he is an angel, not a fallen one, who's job is to test humans in order for them to make a choice between Good and Evil.

remember, if there were no temptations, what kind of choice would we even have??

btw, Jewish tradition believes this and always has, that Satan is merely doing his duty and is not an entity to be Feared in a scary sense.

just an interesting thought :)

Angels are angels because they do not sin. Humans have the ability to choose whether to sin or not to. If we are completely sinless we may become angels or saints. God designed us to choose our own path.

Well I believe that you never ask God why, but God help me to understand. The angels do not have an enemy as humans do, the devil is mankind's enemy, everyone has a purpose. God made him especially to sin and fall form heaven to be called the devil and fight against mankind. Angels were not made to sin even though they have free will, that's why no other angel has fallen from heaven but Satan because his purpose is to fight us. The devil is not Heaven's enemy but humans enemy ,he was made to deceive us to sin. The angel's were made to serve God and help mankind against the devil. That's why God died for our sins, he knew that we would be tempted and sin, but he is graceful and forgives us. That's why the angels don't understand why we sin,but they don't have an enemy who is constantly seeking to devour them as we do. In God's word he tells us not to be perfect, but to be holy ,for I am holy!

In Islam

Angels (made of light) do not have free will

Jinn / Shatan (made of fire) do have free will

Humans (made of clay) do have free will

The angles asked God when he made man will he not cause destruction and murder. God said I know what you do not.

The Jinn and Angles were then told to bow to man. The Angels did but Shatan said no I am better than him I am made of fire and he is made of clay. I will prove that I am the better creation. This is why Shatan will tempt us to sin to prove the Jinn are a better creation.

Angels don't have Free Will. They only carry out God's Will.
