How can we show love for God and our neighbors ?

We can show love for God by obeying his commands as we understand them.

We show love for our neighbor as Jesus said "do unto others as you would have them do to you".

As Jesus said, love is the law's fulfillment. You don't need a How to Guidebook.

REGARDING the obligation that humans have to worship God, Jesus said: “You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.” (Matthew 22:37) How should we demonstrate this love? The Bible answers: “This is what the love of God means, that we observe his commandments.” (1 John 5:3) With what fine result to those who do? John said: “He that remains in love remains in union with God.”—1 John 4:16b.

If we love God, we will not give our worship to any creature, alive or dead, but to God only. The apostle Peter, and even an angel, refused to accept worship from humans. Also, Jesus showed that his mother, Mary, should not be given any worshipful honor, for such belongs only to God. Misdirecting one’s worship will result in conflict with God’s commandments, for “no one can slave for two masters.” Matthew 6:24.

Jesus showed that our love for Jehovah would motivate us to teach others “to observe all the things [that Jesus has] commanded [us].” (Matthew 28:19, 20) And we want to share that love with fellow servants of Jehovah by the regular “gathering of ourselves together” with them.

we can show our love for god by always being thankful for his blessings, not being ungrateful or taking things for granted, even if we dont get what we like we should accept it without complaining and look on the bright side, by praying to him and asking only god for watever we want instead of bowing before others for help, having faith in him and his abilities, looking for the good in everything around us, being good to ourselves and loving ourselves too, by not forgetting god, remembering him every minute and realizing that he is in our hearts protecting and listening to us and by believing that watever he does to us -as good or as bad it may seem- is always the best for us

we can express our love for our neighbours by being nice and helpful to them, we should not create difficulty for them or disturb them or be a nuisance to them, by forgiving them for their mistakes and setting a good example for them to follow, caring for them and look after them as you would look after your own self.....if u do this u will see them reciprocate the same behavior towards you

By trying to be like Him, though impossible to be perfect we can try to be Christ like in our actions, thought, and words. When we do wrong we need to admit it and ask for forgiveness. For me it is also realizing that I myself cannot change another person only He can.
