Most are going to hate this answer but this is what I observe! Self idyllic worship= love -defined as the feeling one has when they believe they are the ideal companion for someone else. It is not about the other person so much as it is about the person in love. As example "I love you" begins with the word "I" which is exactly what I am getting at. This is why and how one person can be in love and the other person not. This love is not about the feeling of responsibility one feels toward another. It is the feeling of how one feels about themselves for the other person. Love is not responsibility. Compatibility and responsibility are what long term relationships are about. Loosing someone who has been responsible to you is very emotionally painful because the fact is most simply do not care for another to show it through actions!

I would say that it's hard to describe, because so many people have a different definition about it. I personally don't believe in love at first sight. I think that you have to get to know the person first before you say that your in love. But thats just me.
