Only Christians are truly happy. We atheists and pagans are just lost. We might think we are happy but we will never know true happiness because we don't know the Lord. *She says, her tone dripping with sarcasm.*

I'm a Catholic. I wasn't happy as a Pagan. I am not happy now, but have peace and sometimes joy.

I am, as a prayer says, a poor banished child of Eve sending up my cries and sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Anyone who does not see this world as wretched is looking through rose colored glasses.

I have the peace of knowing my God and King has and will save me. I have great joy when anyone else tells me they know that they have been saved.

Yours in Christ Jesus, Grace

If you are truly happy, no one can shatter your happiness. Happiness comes from within.
No one can shatter what you have inside unless you let them.
Being happy is a choice YOU make.

I am a very happy Pagan - job I love, husband I love, four cats I love, a nice home, friends, family, and health. I just come to yahoo answers to get a bit of my daily required sadness in.

I have no idea what you are going on about. I see no difference in Pagan and other religious people..all are "worshipping" some kind of god(s). I have yet to meet a person who is unhappy because they are atheist...unhappy, yes, but not because of a lack or need of a god. But then, I have met more unhappy people who needed a crutch of 'god' to blame for their failings.

So who is happier, the sheep living as they are told by the shepard and being cared for, or the ram on the hill, living the way he wants?

Don't worry - be happy! Or how about; Happiness moves in a circular motion. You are responsible for your own happiness don't give that power to others silly.

God Bless you

You and only you can shatter your happiness the road is narrow and it is up to you to walk it or not . You and only you are to blame for you choices and the outcome.
