That fat, stupid idiot has none of my support. He is trying to bring down America and actually has the support of Liberals. It's absolutely ridiculous.

Support? He's a film director, not a presidential candidate.

If you are asking if I agree with most of his criticisms then I would say yes, he is on the side of right most of the time.

As to why I still live in America, it's because I was born and raised here, I have a job here, I have a family here, and I can't converse in any language other than English. Plus, just because one place has faults, it doesn't mean that other places don't. The grass may seem greener on the other side of the fence but that may just be because the lawn is filled with bright green weeds.

The whole "America, Love It or Leave It" is ridiculous. I'm assuming you didn't move out during the Clinton years even though you and your ilk had plenty of criticisms of the country then. A true American, like Michael Moore, tries to make his country better by pointing out that which can be improved, not by waving a flag or a cross and shouting "America, Right or Wrong",

Imagine that you live in a beautiful house, in which you've been comfortable for years. One day a storm blows some tiles off the roof and the roof develops a leak. Would you abandon the house, or try to repair the leak?

Much the same is true of living in a country like the United States. There is much good here, and it is rather unsettling when something that is not so good happens. I believe, however, that the damage can be repaired.

What Mr. Moore does is draw our attention to the damage. For this, we ought to be grateful.

Why does liking Michael Moore mean that you dislike America?

I like Michael Moore because he questions everything. This is something that, up untill recently, was considered to be VERY American. The trouble with today's America is that nobody protests what they feel is injustice anymore. We just bend over and take it all in.

I had much more respect for Micheal Moore until I actually watched his movies. Any critical thinker can see the biased editing and subtly sensationalistic tactics in his journalism, which makes him no better than the greedy and self-serving opponents he blasts against.

Also, keep in mind that criticizing something is not the same thing as hating or condemning it. It is the right, even the patriotic duty, of every American to speak out against the abuses, failures, and misjudgments of their government. It shows a deep love of one's country to stand up and insist that she live up to her potential, and not be dragged down by her faults.

Just because someone supports Michael Moore, does not mean that they "hate America". Just like if you support Bush or hate Bush, you don't "hate America". Michael Moore is a person. Bush is a person. Their opinions and ideals are NOT America.

America is selling out . It's hard to trust a future here . I don't believe in the system. The companies are all about crappy products from other countries and more money in their pockets.
GOD BLESS

It has always struck me that he likes the USA, that's why he gets upset about what is happening there in particular instances.
If he didn't care strongly about being an American, he wouldn't make such a fuss.

By "support" do you mean go to his films? I watch his films.

I live in the U.S. because I love this country. Wanting to change things about it doesn't make me somehow less patriotic. Our country was founded by people who challenged the status quo, and it will be saved by people doing the same thing.

Not a fan. Michael Moore supports himself with his so called "film career". Seems to me he should have made enough money by now to take a bath, shave and buy some new clothes.....
