It means that he actually cares what you think and wants you to feel good. I assume he is the nice guy type then.

He may not love you but he doesn't want to hurt your feelings, either. It's like you care about your girlfriend's feelings and sometimes lie to her if you think the truth will hurt her, for example, "No, your butt doesn't look big in those pants."
He is thinking of you as a friend but will take sex if you offer it but he's not going to stay around. Be warned and do not try to read more into what he is saying - he is being forthright and honest. So, you jump and get burned, then it's your fault - he's not stringing you along.

It means he cares about as a friend would. There may be more serious feelings than he is saying, but it may be that he is a little afraid to express them out of fear of being rejected by a friend. As I'm sure you feel as well.

Just that. He cares about you and your feelings. He's letting you know that he is your friend. He'll give things some thought before he shoots the words out of his mouth. But don't put too much into it. Make sure you're not going from the frying pan into the fire. If you're not over your last situation (date last weekend) you may have a lot of confused emotions right now. Don't jump too far ahead of yourself.

this answer can be a two edge sword. Guys need to be more accurate when saying things like this.
If you have feelings for him then I would ask him if he HAS feelings for you as well.
That will be the only way to really know if he wants more or just wants to be friends.

Guy will never understand such values. They used to say anything or just do any possibilities without realizing some consequences.
