Death in natural just like birth but each and everyone one of us are scared of death. Why do even Christian and Muslim who believe when they die they will go to a better place still fear death? We all will age and die. Even though we know it we have a false security death will not touch us for a long time. This is a false view since you can die anywhere any time.

Can this mean our belief is not as strong us we assume it is? If we truly believe we will go to heaven when we die why are we so scared of death? Shouldn’t we welcome death us our savior?

i have found that christians fear death more than any other religion. Good question though. You would think they would be eager to leave this "wicked" world and move on to paradise.

People are killed out there evryday and even if you do die warm in you bed there is still the fact that it could be painful.

I believe that we go onto a better place and it sounds amazing but it doesn't stop me being scared of not being with the people i love

I don't know what you're talking about. I'm a Christian and I don't fear death at all. If anything, I look forward to it just as much as any other big event in life. I'm nervous because of the uncertainty but excited for the new experience.

I am a Chrstian and I do not fear death! I have been very close to death before after a head on car crash. I think people fear the way they will die more than death itself. I know there is an afterlife so death is nothing to fear.

Honestly as a christain i am very much looking forward to death. With all of life's stress, pain and suffering - I know it sounds morbid but I almost wish it sooner than later. That's not to say that I am in any way suicidal, there is much joy to gain from life as well. There is also much to accomplish here as a servant of God before my final day comes. Now I don't look forward to the possibility of any pain that may occur prior to my dying. But a life in complete perfect communion with God for all eternity is the one thing I long for above all else.

What in the world are you talking about? We certainly do not fear death. Eternal life is to be looked forward to. I think fear remains in the realm of the people who think life here is all there is. It's one reason they cling to it, looking to prolong it as long as they can. It's short and then poof - gone. You made a tiny little dent in history and have no significance. I'd fear that too. I call that hopelessness.

nicely, i'm an atheist, and that i genuinely concern loss of existence. Who fairly desires to die till you're thoroughly suicidal and hopeless. so some distance as fearing that there is not any longer something after loss of existence, that would not extremely worry me. My view of loss of existence is a non violent feeling or certainly one of being asleep. I in simple terms desire my eventual loss of existence isn't a painful one. loss of existence in my sleep may well be the ultimate thank you to bypass. I assure you Christians and different religious persons concern the thought of "no longer something" after loss of existence. concern of loss of existence is between the conventional utilising forces of all religions, alongside with Christianity. it would be some distance fit for those persons to easily admit they do no longer know what occurs after loss of existence then make up those complex fantasy eventualities approximately their suited trip spot whilst they die. If there is not any longer something there is not any longer something. How do you recognize you will additionally be conscious on any unsleeping point to discover there is "no longer something"?

Jews and Christians fear death. True Muslims don't; as they only fear God.

I'm a Christian and I don't fear death.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

For to me to live is Christ; to die is gain.

I worry about leaving my kids to grow up without a mom, but that's not the same thing. My Savior gave me freedom to live without fear of death.
