16 Cursed are all those that shall lift up the heel against mine anointed, saith the Lord, and cry they have sinned when they have not sinned before me, saith the Lord, but have done that which was meet in mine eyes, and which I commanded them.
17 But those who cry transgression do it because they are the servants of sin, and are the children of disobedience themselves.

What pedophilia? Yes, Joseph Smith married one 16 year old girl, Helen Mar Kimball (but never consummated the marriage, according to her own journal) and supposedly another one Fanny Alger, but there's no evidence that he ever married any others. And no evidence that he consummated either marriage.
And I don't recall Brigham Young marrying anyone under 18. In fact, a few of his wives were older than he was.
So, what is this about pedophilia?

So often, people of today conveniently forget that 100, 200 years ago men took young women as wives as young as 14. The groom was usually around 16 or 17. Let me remind you: in those early years in American hardships it was most common for our young people to marry young as they did.
They possessed the stamina and courage to take on the physical hardships and the resiliency to overcome anguish.
That practice of young couples marrying was still strong in the days of Joseph Smith's time. All you have to do to understand this is to read and comprehend American history.
The practice that prevailed then is a far sight better than happens today with unwed mothers or young kids shacking up, trying one another out just as if they are ready to road-test a new car.

But in religion your sins are forgiven. So all the wrongs they commited, and continue to commit are forgiven, so the polygamy of the mormon church, the murder of the christian past, the child molestation of the religious present is all forgiven so long as they ask for it....so why stop?

Honey, thanks for your genuine (yeah, right) concern about the Mormons. I give you my permission to not worry your pretty little head about it any longer.
We're not going to fill the font and push you in.
