One of the first things I look for is if a young lady has self-respect. I know that a lot of girls are uncertain about somethings, but when their self respect shines through, it really shows up in the way they dress, carry themselves, talk to people, and even in the way they walk and eat. The second thing is attitude, if a girl has a lousy attitude and it makes negative comments about things regularly, I don't want to be near her, no matter how self-respectful she is! The third thing I look for is the way she treats other people. It's okay if she teases other people she knows, as long as it's all in fun, but I also look for a lot of sweetness to balance it out.
