It would be nice to show respect to the bride and groom to dress in a suit, after you get to the reception, if everyone seems to be relaxing and it is very hot weather, it would be all right to loosen or remove your tie and open you shirt for a nice, casual look. However, do not be the first one to do it, let someone else make a fool of themselves.

The time of day shouldn't impact your wardrobe selection. It's a significant day in the lives of the bride and groom - by wearing a suit, you show respect for their big event.

Suit. A wedding is a wedding, after all. You can maybe ditch the coat at the reception, afterwards.

When is the wedding (date)
Where is the wedding (state)
Where is the wedding (church/beach/etc)
If you are in doubt, try calling a member of the family involved in the organization and ask.
You could wear a good pair of pants and a nice shirt and tie.

Depends. Are you the groom? If so, yes. If not, no. Shirt and tie would be a happy medium. Leave the suit at home.

You always have to dress up. You can wear a light color suit if it's entirely during the day!

Suit up and hope it isn't 100 degrees that day. You can always take of your jacket and tie, and roll up your sleeves.
