Santa actually is defined as Saint in a different language. So, Saint is the oposite of Satan. Saint means Holy (clean & pure), Satan means destroyer.

Santa Claus definitely gets the focus off of Jesus Christ around Christmas time. Instead of celebrating the birth of Christ, people celebrate this made up figure. I would say that's the work of Satan; getting people to cheapen the holiday like that and forget about Jesus Christ.
