Blood is thicker than water. You never know what you might find out if you talk to them about your feelings. I never talked to my family when I was going through, what I would consider a life crisis. I'm finally starting to come around now and it turns out that I'm not the only one that would feel the way I do or did. Maybe they can help or even just listen to you. Some people don't have it that easy. Some can't relate to family members, it's not a bad thing, but I've noticed some of the best people to talk to are family members.

Not if they are the ones hurting you. You must have your own feelings as to why you are doing this. Without knowing much...my advice is not "hide" your feelings from everyone. Make sure you have a support system...or you are careful to just "check on yourself". Stay connected to the world. If you feel the family is not safe to share feelings with...only you know best. Family is our direct connect to the world and if at all possible do the very best that you can to share. Take good care.

A persons family should be their biggest fans. If there's something bothering you they should be the first you turn to. They love you more than anyone else and are concerned about you. I know, sometimes we wonder, but it's true, just get hurt and see who's the first to come to your aid. If more families were open and honest with each other, this world would most certainly be a better place for all.

I don't think it's bad to hide certain feelings from you family. Actually it's almost necessary! But just as long as you don't hide really big or important things from them because they may be hurt if they find out on their own and realize you didn't want to tell them.

Yes ! You should never hide your feelings . You deserve to have rights and feelings just like everyone else. Never hold in anything it can lead to problems for you later in life. Never be content in being a door mat are a person who internalizes their feelings. Just be honest and up front about what ever it is.

You got to open up and express yourself to your family. Your family will never know how you are feeling until you release it.

To me it is, because you need to be honest with yourself and everyone else in your family! How else can you express your feelings if you keep them hidden inside of you? Think about it!
