I'm trying to sell my jeep. It's parked on a vacant lot with my "For Sale" sign on it. There are other cars there, but I don't know those owners. Yesterday, I had a really nice interested private buyer looking at my jeep when these annoyingly aggressive professional car salesmen drove up right in the middle of our conversation, handed my customer their card and tried to get them away from my vehicle and into their dealership. I don't know these salesmen and they don't know me. I'm an honest seller selling a good vehicle. What should I do the next time this happens?

You have your vehicle parked on a lot that you do not own,and do not have express permission to park there. You are using someone else's property to display your vehicle without their permission.

You are now complaining that someone else was prospecting for customers, on the same property. If you were on property you owned, rented or otherwise had control of, you will be fully justified to tell others to leave! In this case, you are upset because they were competing for the same customer!

Do not use property you do not own or pay for your sales display, and you will not have this problem.

You may be an honest seller, but you are taking other's property (the lot) for your own use without paying for it! I would not call that honest! Place an ad on craigslist or in the local paper, and keep your jeep at home!!

That's what happens when you try to sell a car from a vacant lot. Not much you can do about it.

all you can do is ask them to leave, that was real rude of them to do that ,they must really be desperate to sell a vehicle, but if it happens again id politely ask them to leave, and make sure they don't interfere with another sale, chances are it wont happen again, but you can also move the vehicle to another location also that might prevent this from happening, good luck selling it.

Tell the buyer: "Just like typical used car sales people, Desperate to make a buck"

There is nothing you can do really. People are annoying. The people who are looking at your vehicle should see this the same way you do. Just keep trying someone will buy it good luck.

Let them know that they are being rude, and interupting your discussion. Assk them politely to leave. If they don't leave you have my permission to beat the living **** of them. Nobody will miss one less a$$hole in this world.

I would politely tell them to 'please f**k off'.

Then I would find out what lot they work for - and go pester their customers while they are trying to sell them a car, and see how they like it.
