hey dears.,
as a muslim i believe that there is just one God ,but you christians believe in a lot of things which does not exist in your Bible .Anyway,it's ok .Moreover ,if we scrutinize the whole bible ,we ll never find any verse where the prophet Jesus says i'm God .All christian doctrine doesn't exist in their Book.Well, i know that you believe firmly the Jesus is God that is fine,so let get to practice instead of theory .And here is a verse by the prophet Jesus where he says the when ever 2 persons gathers in his name and ask for something ,then it happened immediately;and here is the verse it is in (matthew 18:19,20):Again, (amen,) I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything for which they are to pray, it shall be granted to them by my heavenly Father. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." . so plz try to call him and ask him to appear to you .and now i tell you that he ll never appear to you .

Another test you have in your book a so so so interesting verse which says : "These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will drive out demons, they will speak new languages. They will pick up serpents (with their hands), and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not harm them. They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." (Mark 16:17,18),so try to pick up serpents,or drink a poisoning stuff, but if you find your self unable to do so ,plz ask your highest priest to do so if he really believe in Jesus .i hope you ll know the truth about christianity . there is no God but Allah and Mohammed is his messanger and Jesus is his messanger .
peace to you

Jesus is sitting next to me at the moment. He said your "question" is a falsehood, that you are not of Islam.
When I asked me if my interpretation of the Koran as being a poor (worse than the book of mormon) work with sloppy borrowings from the Bible, he said he didn't know, the Koran is banned in Paradise as pornographic.

Jesus and Mohammed are so far apart in their teaching and their claim in Gods plan that it isn't a comparison. Jesus claimed he is the way, the only way to God. He was The Christ, the Son of God, not born of man. Where does this leave Mohammed? One is right and one is wrong. No other person has ever said or done what Jesus has done. All who knew Jesus said there is no sin in him. I do not know any man who can make this claim. Mohammed can not make that claim either. Mohammed was a man, not the Son of God.
By the way, you grossly misinterpreted your scripture references.
And to add to what was already stated in a previous post see verse below. Even the Jews, who were looking for the Messiah, said Jesus himself claimed to be God. They would know more than us today, what Jesus was implying when he made these types of claims. It infuriated the religious leaders, much in the same way it does non-Christians today.
John 10:
33"We are not stoning you for any of these," replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God."

The Jews believe in God. Jesus said, "He who has seen me, has seen the Father." In St. John's Gospel:
"In the beginning was the Word: the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things came into being, not one thing came into being except through him. What has come into being in him was life, life that was the light of men; and light shines in darkness, and darkness could not overpower it." John 1:1-6
The Word (Jesus) was made flesh, and he lived among us, and we saw his glory, the glory that he has from the Father as only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14
When reading the Christian and Jewish Scriptures it is important to keep in mind: 1. There are places where Jesus infers or says he is God 2. The Scriptures and the Living Church make up Christianity, we are not soley people of the book but of tradition as well. 3. Please do not say the bible doesn't say something about this or that until you have looked at it in depth. Muslims offen do not understand the verse they read in the Christian scriptures. You can't approach Christianity from a Muslim point of view. It leads to mis-intepretations.
Also Christian teaching as concepts in the scriptures asserts that God is one in nature, 3 in persons. NOT THREE GODS.
Thanks from Hoss

Jesus said do not tempt the Lord God. He also said beware of false prophets (if I remember correctly Mohommed had like 13 wives , can you call him devotely holy?) Also Mohommed spread Islam by massacring villages. Christians did it too yes but JESUS never did) Not all Christians believed that he is God the other Christians believe that he was just the son of God. Get your facts straight. In Christian belief Jesus died & was resurrected Mohommed died & people decided to make up that he was just lifted up to heaven after killing innocent people who wouldn't convert to his way. It also says in the bible that when Jesus was a little boy he read from the Torah about a coming Messiah & after reading it he said this prophecy has now been fufilled.

Um, you aren't going to convince a christian they are wrong, so don't even waste your time. Myself being an atheist, could scrutinize the whole Quran as well, though anything that I find, I am sure you would believe I am interepting it wrong or something. They could say the same thing to you. It is pointless to argue with a religious person. Rational debate ends when "god" is mentioned.

Salaam Sister,
no point asking questions like that cos not one person profess themselves to be Christians can answer that.
They read a Eastern book through Greek and Roman glasses, certain dogma are not understood by the latter day Christians cos many verses have been corrupt.

My friend there are many more hypocrisy's in this Jesus worship/religion. God first spoke of Not worshiping any other god. So why would he send a living god?
Is Christianity bad, no.
Is Islam bad, no.
Is Judaism bad, no.
Are there things certain people do with these beliefs that are bad...yes. I think we can agree that people have been lied to. By men who wish to control, influence and manipulate the masses. I have read all three holy books of Abraham, and have found many similarities. Instead of building on these common themes, they divide us over god. and there is no greater blasphemy or sin, then an impostor wolf separating the sheep from the Shepperd.
Peace be upon you, God willing we have the faith to carry on with such insults.

Miraculous gifts were done away with when the Christians reached maturity...1 Cor. 13:2,8-11 and look at Matthew 7:21-23 and 2 Thess. 2:9,10 and Ex. 7:19,20,22 on how performing apparently miraculous works does not by itself prove that one is serving the true God.

Not Christian (or Muslim)
I can't give an answer on this question, but I MUST say that THIS is a GOOD QUESTION. OF all the C*R*A*P that is on R&S where people flame their opinions as facts, invent ficticious truths to stir animosity-- FINALLY someone can ask an intelligent, debateable question, list the resources upon which they developed their own opinion, and stated a final challenge.
GOOD JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Many stars for you!!!
Blessed be siser

it also says in the bible not to put the Lord your God to the test and by doing this you would be doing so. Also there are things in the bible that we as humans will always find confusing. We have to just have faith and believe in him. I would recommend that you read the book "Blink" by Ted Dekker. i think that would help you to also understand.

I've learned very recently, that if I get mad at people who attack my faith or belief all that is really showing the world; is that I have insecurities about what it is I believe. So, instead I will take this opportunity to share my faith with you.
When you speak about Matthew 18:19-20, it is not saying that Jesus the Christ will physically be in the midst. It is saying that His Presence will be with us. In other words, His Spirit - Emmanuel (which is the name spoken of to Mary) means "G-d WITH us".
He lived OUR life, He grew-up in OUR world, and He died in the same flesh that we have. In doing this, He showed that the almighty creator is not JUST some far off being; who is sitting on a throne in judgment over his subjects. When we read other Myths we see that their 'gods' WERE those faraway beings and when they did have interaction with humans it always turned out disastrous, because they (the gods) always treated humans like lower-class citizens.
In the Bible, we are being taught that G-d is a caring being. He wants to be a part of our everyday activities. He wants our worship and praise of Him, to be a given freely. It was never meant for us to have all the rules that govern when or where we can or can't speak (pray) to Him. Sing to Him. That turns a relationship with G-d into a political type religion.
He wanted us to be free to go to Him at anytime, in anyplace; that means we can talk to Him as we would our best friend! That also means when we do anything wrong in His sight, we can freely confess our wrongs (sins) to Him. And He WILL accept our confession AND forgive us, without making us say any other prayers, petitions, or anything of that nature. Just like when we say "I am sorry" to our friends, family, or anyone that we have done something against. And they reply "Your forgiven", “That's okay" or something along those lines.
What do you think would happen to your friendship or the relationship you have with people; if when you say "I'm sorry" and their reply was "That's okay, but I will not forgive you until to say sorry 10 more times"? Would that be a positive thing for the relationship or would it eventually cause strife?
There were not supposed to be 'religious' barriers between Him and us. With all rules (you can do this or you can't do that). But a truly open, friendly, and supportive relationship; like a Father and Child or like I said earlier Your Best Friend. Within this type of relationship (at least the one's I have experienced with my best-friends) you understand that there will be times that you let each other down. You will have spats or disagreements, BUT will always be able to redeem yourself to each other. In this type of relationship, there will be times that you do not communicate properly to each other; BUT you will always find a way to make up for that lack of communication.
In the Father and Child relationship, you understand that there has to be discipline, which is to keep harmony and respect; within the relationship. The most loving of Fathers WILL set rules, which a child thinks are 'silly, outrageous, or unfair'. However, the reasons behind these rules are, BECAUSE of His love for you. He wants His child to grow into a mature and responsible adult. And He wants all His kids to be safe, so the rules are set in place; in an effort to protect the child’s life.
Do you honestly know of any loving, protective, and respectful father - who will not punish his kids when they disobey? Who does not keep communication lines open? A father who supports his child’s decisions BUT at the same time can drive us nuts by continuing to give us His advice?
This is MY faith and belief in G-d and Jesus the Christ. I pray that one day more people can find this type of relationship with G-d. Life is not supposed to be easy or full of fun and games. True life is lived when we recognize that we have faced a particular problem already AND got through it. G-d will place troubles in our life, so that we can learn and be strengthen; by overcoming them.
And if you are not interested in that type of relationship, I pray that you will find peace and happiness in which ever one that makes you feel like your life is precious.
And Jesus answered and said to him, "It is said, 'You shall not put the L-rd your G-d to the test" (Luke 4:12)
"I and my Father are One" (John 10:30)
"I am." (Mark 14:60-62)
"Yes, it is as you say." (Matt. 26: 63-65)
"You are right in saying I am." (Luke 22:67-70)
“All great truths begin as blasphemies.”
George Bernard Shaw, Annajanska
“It is only those who are in constant revolt that discover what is true, not the man who conforms, who follows some tradition. It is only when you are constantly inquiring, constantly observing, constantly learning, that you find truth, God, or love.”
Jiddu Krishnamurti, Think on These Things
