I've had lots of questions/answers conversations with many of you now, some that continued through email. I'm just wondering, what is the spectrum of careers and educations out there in the Yahoo R&S world? I'll answer my own question- I am a paralegal, but have a bachelor's in English, and am probably gonna go to law school in the next year or so (still trying to make up my mind if I want to have babies, or go to law school first lol).

BA in Science and a lot of grad school in social studies. Career in finance and information systems. Quite a mixed bag, huh?

I'd get that law degree out of the way first. Babies are a full time job. Also, education is going to get increasingly expensive. If you can afford it now, do it. Then let the degree pay for future babies (it never works the other way around).

I have a bachelor's in Liberal Arts from the University of Arkansas. Which almost means that I took enough courses in different areas without "officially" declaring a major, so they HAD to give me a degree. LOL!!!! Kidding... Just means I didn't focus on one area of study. My career? I am the accounting/ insurance specialist for a group of Optometrists. I love my job... seriously, I do. Can't think of another I'd rather be doing, except for being a stay-at-home mom. But this will do.

I am a high school graduate, no college. For the past 23 years, I have been a veteran's advocate. I assist veterans in obtaining their rightful benefits from the Veterans Administration. I absolutely love my job and would not trade it for anything. The "war" stories I have heard over the past 20 years are unforgettable. My advise, get all you education out of the way before you start having babies....

I dropped out of highschool, got my GED, then took my ACT the same summer and started College. You know, it just wasn't for me. So I didn't finish it. Oh, I had no problem keeping up. My GPA was 3.8. But I realized I'd rather be working. I may go back one day. But I doubt it.
I am currently homeschooling my daughter and one of her friends. I also help my husband keep his business affairs in order. Budgeting and taxes, that kind of thing. Though I seriously can't wait til he hires an accountant.

Master's level, non-degree, certification "5th Year" in Reading and English as a Second Language.

High School Reading/ESL teacher.

You'll never make it through law school with babies. Unless time is of the essence, biologically speaking, do school first. :-)

added: LMAO!!! They blanked out the "c.u.m." in "summa c-u-m laude!!!
