I'm comfortable with just about every kind of atheism, even if it is just as unfounded as a belief. That may be because I'm an atheist myself.

I am fine with YOUR Atheism.
If you don't think you know the in and outs of my worldviews and think you are vastly superior intillectually than me simply because I have a theology, I am completely comfortable with your views.
If you want some examples of the Atheists that make me feel uncomfortable please look at this question. Not all of them are examples of this I know you'll recognise the ones I am pointing out.

For me as an atheist?
I needed to be satisfied that I could see no evidence for any supernatural occurances in the world. It took a while, but I transitioned from belief, to supersticious agnosticism, to theistic agnosticism, to flat out superstition, to atheism.

My effort should never be to undermine another's way
but to make him a better follower of his own way.

Only Good, without contention, pure compassion , I have fought, rent asunder holy books perhaps only moments ago. Best to be like water which does not contend, flowing without fighting.

If someone is an atheist I'm completely fine/comfortable with that as long as they are respectful and don't launch personal attacks on me. I've never had a problem with you.

According to a couple of the posts here, some of the theists also want you to kiss their feet and give them a boatload more respect than they give you (remember, these are the same people who think you deserve to be tortured for all eternity).
Sigh.

For you to be comfortable with my belief in God, and not to assume that I'm incapable of rational thought. For you not to assume that I'm judging you for your beliefs. For you to give the same respect that you expect me to give you. For you to acknowledge that my belief in God doesn't make me less intelligent. That your belief doesn't mean you're more enlightened than I am. Only that you took the information the world has shown you and came to a different conclusion than I have.
