Your body needs 1200 calories a day or you'll damage muscles. Eat small meals every 2.5 to 3 hours. If you must have a large meal make it breakfast. Don't eat within 3 hours of bed. No pop, no sugar in your tea, and get rid of candy completely.
Cardio exercises are the best way to go. Walking twice a day for 30 minutes is a great start. You can use an elliptical or maybe some swimming.
60lbs is a lot to loose in 2 months. If you go about this in a healthy manor you can expect to take off about 30 maybe 40lbs by September and the full 60lbs by mid November.

The safest way to lose weight is 1-2 pounds a week. The first couple of weeks you may lose more than that if you stick to a healthy balanced diet (fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meats, less sugar, check portion sizes) and exercise.
So to be safe, you can lose around 20 pounds by the beginning of September, but you can always keep working on it after September! Weight loss and maintaining is a life long commitment, not just until you lose the weight!

This is way to much weight to try to loose in under 2 months. It is not recommended to loose more than 2 lbs per week. This is only 16 lbs by September. Start by eating more vegi's and fruits, whole grains and lean proteins and increase your cardio to 4-5 times/week at a min. of 45 minutes with your heart rate up but not to exhaustion. Also remember to eat a small heathly breakfast to get you metabolism going in the morning. Get started now and continue to lose weight through Sept. People will notice the changes in you by Thanksgiving.
Good luck

Exercise and eating right. No sodas, no late night snacking, and mo over-eating. Drink water only. Don't expect to loose all that weight before September. You didn't gain that 62lbs. in that matter of time so don't expect to loose it all so fast. Not healthy for you, which I know right now you could care less about health. But, loosing that weight needs to be a life-long commitment. The faster you loose it-the faster you will gain if you keep doing the same thing. If you just learn to eat the proper foods and exercise (stay active) you can make it last forever.

well your not alone! i want to lose about 40 pounds too i am only about ..( overweight..) i know how you feel you want to lose weight because you want to fit in...and you want to wear some of there clothes...right?? if i am wrong i apoligize for my babbling. i am not happy with my body so i am going on a no soda... and less calorie intake diet..my brother lost about 60 pounds in 6 months just taking off the soda... (thats how bad it is for you) however losing 60 pounds is a large weight for you body to lose...it is nearly impossible and any weight trainer wouldnt recommend that high of a goal ..start out slow..it is unhealthy for your body to lose more then 5-10 pounds a week ..unless you are doing it through excersize not by stop eating!! the best help i can give you is too eat about 5 times a day..but in small portions! your body needs continous energy but not so much food that you are stuffing youself also a good excersize progam will help..try jogging every morning.. :)

You can't loose that much weight in that short of a time frame unless you don't mind gaining it all back. Start with simple diet and excercise - you won't get down to 145 before September, but at least it's something!

Ok, there are some things you can do but definately talk to your parents first.
First off, you can go to the doctor and he/she can prescribe you something.
If you don't have a lot of extra money you could go on a low calorie diet. Since you want to lose a lot of weight, you would have to eat approx. 1000 calories a day.
If you do this however, you need to start taking certain vitamins. Multi-vitamins, iron supplements, etc.
If you want to do the calorie diet go to:
www.calorieking.com
They have a search function for you to get the calorie count of any food that you want.

Start doing some major cardio. Swimming and running, less eating. You won't be able to reach 145 but can get closer to that goal of yours. Drink lots of water and NO POP. Cut the fat out of everything you eat. GOOD LUCK

you were undisciplined enough to gain all that weight, what makes you think you can develop the discipline over night that it takes to lose the weight?
It takes 2 to 3 times as long to lose excess weight as it did to gain it, so you aren't going to lose that much weight that quickly no matter what you do.
You must take stock of yourself.....do you have what it takes to be responsible for your actions? do you have what it takes to make a total lifestyle change? do you have what it takes to discipline yourself to become healthy and stop worrying about how you look? this is what is necessary. Only you can answer these questions for yourself. And then only you can do what is required to make the changes in yourself required.

It would not be healthy to lose that much weight in that short amount of time. Even if you would lose it you would in time put it back on and even an extra couple of pounds. Eat healthy and exercise and you will lose pounds the healthy way. Good luck
