Depends on the age of the little one. We slept with our oldest in our room until she was 6 months old. We just made sure she was asleep ( she had a pretty good sleep pattern) and obviously we tried to be quiet.
And I don't quite see how it would be immoral? 2 loving parents, showing their love for each other in the most intimate way?

Yikes. I don't know about a moral/ethical opinion, it probably isn't that bad if the baby is young (6 months or less) and asleep. I personally wouldn't do it, but I won't do it in front of the dog either. It's just...yeah, you said it: creepy. But I can't imagine any major psychological trauma to the child if it's that young.

My husband and I did. We just made sure that the baby was asleep and in his own bed. We only had a 1 bedroom place. It is a natural way of a husband and wife expressing love to one another. We have always hugged, held hands, gave light kisses, and told each other "I love you" when are children were around. I can say that both of our sons are at ease in doing the same to there spouses.

Those that feel comfortable and think that the baby does not know...will be comfortable to have sex. Those that believe that there is awareness in human life right from birth will not be so comfortable to have sex in the same room. Why is it a moral and/or parenting issue?

The concept of separate bedrooms is a relatively modern one. Many homes until only 200 years ago basically only had one room, and everyone slept in it.
It's not a religious question at all. Religious people will spout all sorts of nonsense at you from, or based on, a work of fiction called the bible. It's not real. It is a delusion.
What do you feel comfortable with is the real question that needs to be asked.

I don't think this is spoken of anywhere in the Bible. If I stretch things really really far, I could maybe apply "not being an occasion of sin" to it, but even then it wouldn't work, since a baby has no concept of what is going on so couldn't sin about it.

I think it's ok if the child isn't understanding of what your doing. I used the bathroom with the door open until my kids were 3. (Why because I had two small kids at the sametime, 21 months apart. And I wanted to always hear them. As soon as they were older, I shut the door and concealed myself!) Afterall, women breast feed, etc. and it's not dirty, unless you make it dirty!

I wouldn't say it's a bad parenting thing, but I would never have sex around my children (hypothetically speaking I had kids).

Is the baby aware of what you're doing? Will it ask embarassing morally problematic questions (which you can look forward to anyway)?
If not, enjoy.
