A small tourist hotel was all abuzz about an afternoon wedding where the groom was 95 and the bride was 23.

The groom looked pretty feeble and feeling was that the wedding night might kill him, because his bride was healthy, vivacious young woman.

But lo and behold, the next morning the bride came down the main staircase slowly, step by step, hanging onto the banister for dear life.

She finally managed to get to the counter of the little shop in the hotel. The clerk looked really concerned,"Whatever happend to you, honey?you look like you've been wrestling an elephant!"

The bride groaned, hung onto the counter and managed to speak,!Ohhh God! He told me he'd been saving up for 75 years and I thought he meant his money!!"

Just wanted to let you know that depression is NOT AFFECTED by the life you live. You could be a millionaire and still have it. Depression is a mental disease. It can affect anyone. MCR helped me because, first of all, music has really been a huge part of my life. It's my solace. It might not be yours, but for me music is my only escape. MCR saved me because the lyrics and the music connected to me in ways nothing else really did. Take, for instance, one of my favorite MCR songs, Famous Last Words. "I am not afraid to keep on living, I am not afraid to walk this world alone." There are times when I've felt so broken and alone that nothing could help, except this. Because it gives me courage, it makes me lift my head up and MEAN it. I mean the lyrics, though they're not my words. Black parade. "I'm gonna show my scar. Give a cheer for all the broken, listen here, because it's who we are." For the broken, and the beaten, it says that if you are broken, if you are shattered, that you're not a freak. Believe it or not, sometimes we blame things that aren't our fault on ourselves. MCR, for me at least, was the thing that told me being broken was okay.
