Public schools demand more of kindergartners today than ever before. You should market this as a "Get Ready for Kindergarten" experience. Let the parents know that kindergarten today is like first grade a few years ago, and to help their child get an edge, they need to enroll in your program.
It's not what you call it. It's how you market it.

You won't be able to use Kinder Care that is a licensed name
but Ready to Learn or Ready for School might work and is exactly the approach you want to take. You are getting them ready to learn next year in Kindergarten.
I understand the upset from EC Expert above. Day cares DO teach unfortunately some parents believe all we do is BABYSIT
I actually had a few say; "You need a DEGREE for that??"
grrrr!!

In California they had a program called "Jump Start" that was a curriculum-based kindergarten preparation class... it went all school year for 4 year olds, then they went back to it for the final two weeks before they started kindergarten as a transition class. EXCELLENT program. But I think "Jump Start" is a good name! The marketing ideas are endless... "Jump start your child's education" etc. Good luck!

Call your local school district and see if pre-K is being offered in your area. You may be able to work with your district to provide pre-K services affiliated with your school district. If so, they may have a preference on what you title the program.
I do like the suggestion of branching off of your current name and calling it Early Assistance.

You can call it anything you want. I used to threaten to call my next day care Yale Early Learning Center because I was sick of people sneering at day care. Just remember, no matter what you call it you will probably have to get a Day Care license. And, by the way, what makes you think good day care centers don't already do what you are planning?

How about something like Early Learners or First Steps? Your idea of Beginners Lessons is good, too. Good luck!

⥠The ABC's & 123's of Childhood
⥠Or something cute & catchy like that.
⥠Make sure your marketing strategy is great and be very informative for the parents. They will ask a zillion questions and you want to be able to answer every one without hesitation. :-)
Good Luck!

You could piggy back on your "Regular Assistance Program" and call it "Early Assistance Program" or "Preschool Assistance Program."
