I'm trying to lose weight by developing an overall healthier lifestyle. I've done many things to change my eating habits - my diet consists of mostly fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean meats and water for drinking...and I have started working on increasing my activity levels.

I know that once I start losing weight, it'll come from my whole body.. i have about 60lbs to lose!

My stomach is the biggest problem. It has more fat than any other area of my body I've heard that you cant 'spot' diet (lose weight in a specific spot) .... but when I lose weight - will my stomach eventually even out with the rest of my body? Or will it always stay a bit bigger???

everyones body has favorite fat reserve keeping places and yours is your belly.
when you start losing fat you will lose fat. period.
you will notice it first in places that have the thinnest layer of fat (your face) and last in places that have the thickest layer of fat (your belly).
the less body fat percentage you will have the less fat on your belly will be.

The abdominal region is the most difficult area for men to lose inches off. While your doing your sit ups, place a flat weight on your tummy, if your leg weights are the type that has Velcro to fasten, you can use them but don't connect them, keep them flat. There are side bends that can beneficial to the waist area. While lying down in the ab exercise position, turn to the right side and then the left side, you can still use some sort of flat weights on your tummy. Another exercise is in the standing position. Keep your legs shoulder width apart and slightly bend your knees. Bring one arm towards your head and use your upper body to lift the arm over and towards the opposite shoulder. You decide the reps and then do the other side. There is another exercise that you can do in the standing position. Legs shoulder width apart, knees slightly bent and bending from your waist, lower your arms toward the floor. You can use a free-weight in your hand as you do this. Again, you decide how many reps. Always remember not to use your back as you may strain it and then you won't be able to any exercises. The gym has several machines that are designed for abs. Power walking can be of benefit to the waist. I hope this helps.

You are apple shaped and you can change that. Lay off the carbs, only have stuff like melba toast and breadsticks. If you really have to have starches like rice, potatoes, corn, peas, etc., you should only have them ONCE a week!!! Always walk with your tummy muscles contracted, actually make a concious effort to have them contracted all the time. If you sit at a desk a lot, replace your office chair with a big exercise ball, you have to keep your core contracted, or you'll fall off!!!
Drink lots of water and take kelp tablets if you're not on any other medication...
Good luck!

eat regularly daily!!
but you must have a schedule of eating...
eat before 8 hours of your sleeping time..that's the time your stomach looks for food, so sleep when it's occuring!
that will hurt your stomach!!haha
