Using a q-tip, apply vodka to a cold sore to help it dry out. If a blister opens, pour vodka over the raw skin as a local anesthetic that also disinfects the exposed dermis. Hunt's tomato paste boil cure....cover the boil with Hunt's tomato paste as a compress. The acids from the tomatoes soothe the pain and bring the boil to a head. Well..I have one right now.. To get the swelling to go down I took about 4- 500 mg of Lysine supplements, and then one every 2 hours, and i've been switching from Carmex and abreva for the pain and soreness...Also, eat lots of yogurt.... It's working for me so far, and I've had it for about 3 days now, and it's almost totally cleared. And they say it usually takes 10-14 days to clear up, so for it only being a few days and almost cleared up, im thinking i'm doing pretty well! Hope my tip helped! and good luck..

generally chilly soars ought to run their coarse in spite of the undeniable fact that it is going to heal speedier in case you employ Listerine. i take advantage of it two times customary and for me chilly soars often bypass away interior a pair of week or so. I often use the blue type because of the fact it works and it tastes extra constructive than the yellowish antiseptic style type.

Abreva is a product available over the counter that will make you much more comfortable. You can also ask your doctor for acyclovir, which will dry it up in a few days.

This isn't going to help by tomorrow but Arbonne makes a daily supplement to take to avoid them in the future - my dad takes it and suffers cold sores and said he hasn't had one in months - a mile stone.
So look for this - naturally or look in to this supplement.
L-lysine, herbs, bioflavonoids
