You tell me.
The thought of someone I loved all my life burning in hell despite being the best person they could be, just because they were raised in the wrong culture and were Hindu, that thought bothers the heck out of me.
So yeah, that thought would have to be gone for a heaven to be a heaven.

Christians are exhorted to renew their minds so that they do not conformed to this world but to have the mind of Christ (Romans 12:2; 1 Corinthians 2:16) so that they can have the wisdom, knowledge and understanding of God. Then they know that heaven is their home.

J.P.
I have to respond to your answer.
There are three types of baptism. (baptism of water (baptism of blood (baptism of desire.
Water is the type of baptism you recieve in church. Blood is when you die for what you honestly believe to be right, reguardless of weather or not you are christian. Desire is when you realy want to please God, (by whatever name you call him) and spend your life trying to be good. God loves us all. That is why he made us. He would not deprive ANYONE the means of eternal happiness. Everyone has natural law to guide them, you know, the little voice in your heat that says what is right and wrong. If you are not able to be Christian, but you still follow that voice, that is baptism of desire.
Also, remember that He said let the children come to Me. Someone who is not exposed to Christianity is, spiritualy, a child. God loves the simple minded. So why would he condemn to hell a kind, loving pagan who did everything he could to be good?
We cannot say who is in hell. That is for Him to say. We must trust in his infinate Mercy.
God Bless!
