Don't be disappointed, you've done really great. When first starting to lose weight , you will lose more lbs. per week, because most of that is water weight. After a while, it slows a bit, because now you are really losing fat. To lose 1 1/2 -2 lbs per week is perfect. You will keep it off much easier if you lose it at that rate.
Why don't you set a new goal, now. How about give yourself a month to reach 150. You must be looking pretty good, by now, huh? Then take your time with your last 10 lbs. Keep doing what you are doing, it's obviously working. But give yourself another three months to drop that 10. You'll probably reach you goal sooner than that, and how great will that feel, eh?
Good luck to you!

First, that was a pretty aggressive goal. Experts say you should aim to lose 1-2 lbs per week, to do it safely. And why are you so down on yourself?! You've lost half your goal. It takes longer than you think, just keep the motivation by realizing how far you've come and how little you have left to go!
Make sure you are changing up the intensity and order of your workouts...once your body realizes the routine, it will take less energy to do and you will plateau. So change it up, make sure you get plenty of fruits, veggies, protein, good fat...lots of fiber.
Re-evaluate what you are eating/drinking; maybe you aren't letting go of soda, or something else. Maybe now you can let it go or go diet, (diet coke) etc.

Just keep doing exactly what you`re doing now, I mean, you can see that it`s working, can`t you ?. Forget about such short term goals, you didn`t put that weight on in four months so why expect it to come off in four months ?. Weight loss isn`t something that happens at a constant rate. At first you`ll tend to lose weight quite rapidly but at a certain point the weight loss slows down. That`a a natural thing to happen. It`s your body's way of conserving energy in the face of all this weight loss. Remember, your body stores energy in the form of fat, it can`t store it in the form of muscle. So, in effect, your body goes into " famine mode ". It slows down the weight loss as a natural bodily defense.

That's great! You only should lose 1-2 pounds per week. If you lose it too quick, you'll just gain it all back. Don't think of it as a diet with a goal, think of it as a new lifestyle for the rest of your life!!!

this is a good rate. keep it up. you dont want to lose more then 2 lbs PER week. its a slow process. your doing very well. keep excercising and maybe change your routine a little. like go longer or go fro a bike ride and a walk and such. mix up the food too.
