When i squeeze oranges myself they taste nothing like tropicana. The marks and Spencer product is much better

Is it really not from concentrate?

The commercial brands add sugar, too. If you look at the ingredients, it's never just "oranges." It's so processed, it's not the same as squeezing your own.

Commercially squeezed OJ is done by a process that tears apart the orange, peel and all. The bitter oils from the peel and pith then go into the juice. Also, commercial OJ is made from different varieties of oranges than those that are grown for the whole fruit market.

I think it is... but it doesn't have the oils from the skin that home-squeezed does, I'm sure. That's what makes the orange flavor more intense.

It may not be from concentrate....but i bet it was frozen and thawed and trucked a zillion miles. Nothing is better than squeezing your own.
