The guy who I've known for 5 or so years. We had a weird friendship. We both liked each other when we first met but we didn't say anything until a year later. His feelings had stayed the same, mine had changed.
We became really close friends and my feels developed. Except I was already in sort of another relationship so I pretended my feelings weren't there. We drifted apart (my fault).
I saw him today though. He had a new girlfriend. (I've known her since I was young, we went to primary together). I had really mixed feelings about seeing him. Jealous, shame, sad, happy. All at once.
I know we can't be together. We've moved on too much. But now I can't stop thinking about what could of been. How do I stop thinking about this?
Should I try and start talking to him again (as a friend)?

you should start talking to him again as a friend because you might feel guilty because you denied your feelings for him. you might think that if you pursued your feelings, maybe now you are happy being with him. just try to forget your feelings for him and treat him as a friend. but, it's up to you if you want to follow my advice. good luck!

Yes definatly!!
He might have really liked you too like more than a friend! But your boyfriend probably made him back off if he wanted to make a move. That means he's a really great guy! Pretending feelings aren't there is a bad thing to do...if you guys become good friends again and you still like him like you do then ask him if he likes you more than a friend. If not then at least you tried!
I know exactly what you're talking about since I'm going though the same thing! But my guy asked me if I loved him and I freaked out and said NO! Now we haven't talked for like two years and I don't know how to approach him, he also has a girlfriend too.
You should defintaly talk to him! send him a text. You don't wanna let a great guy go! You'll spend maybe the rest of your life wondering!

Try avoiding him and hanging out more with your friends/ bf
until u r used 2 him being in a relationship with his girlfriend. Once done, try to contact him and meet up with him as a friend. The thing u have to remember is that u should not sabotage their relationship in anyway and should try to move on with another guy

If the young man is of good character, and your personalities mesh, why not be friends? The potential of future intimacy, as well as missed intimacy, in the past, is irrelevant. Good friends are hard to come by; you can never have too many.
Remember, the future is fluid, and is many decades long !

Give it time. After a few months, you'll have other things on your mind besides him. Then maybe you can ask him if he wants to be friends. For some people, this works. For others (such as myself), the past will always be a haze that I just can't see through...

It's never too late, the problem is that now he has a girlfriend. I think you could call just to say hi and to keep in touch in with him. You never know what might happen in the future. Just don't dwell on it, that will only make you miserable.

How is that precisely a white individual shirt? Their are black Italians and black human beings do stay in Italy, no longer in basic terms white human beings. So, why might or no longer this is a situation if he wore the shirt, perchance he like the way of existence and existence-type of Italy.

Leave it and get along with your own life. The past is the past, and difficult as it is you have to move on.

Sounds to me like YOUR feelings didn't change either... Maybe you should talk to him ... Some feelings do not change they get deeper sometimes ...

Why not? Never say never . . . things change, people split up, friends become lovers . . . who knows?
