My TV is 'pebble-dashed', they always seem to show them while we are eating and they are so annoying we either shout or throw something at them. The worst one is the one with the couple were shes sipping coffee and walking round her home while shes on the phone saying "We need to borrow £25,000..." her hubby interrupts and says "Oops sorry" like he didnt know anything about it!! She then puts her hand over the phone and confirms the £25,000 to hubby who nods eagerly (makes my blood boil). They then get the thumbs up, sit down on the sofa, smile and say "that was easy" and in the corner of the screen it tells us they will be paying back a total of £48,000!!! I for one hope it cripples them.....!!!

Adding to (k4yjo"s). I go mental about this advert. She tells the hubby to be quiet while screaming answers back to the kid and doent even pull the phone away from her big gob. Then calmly shouts again to the kid that dads found his scooter while poor dad could have broken his neck. If I were dad I would sod off and leave her in dept, she may even have to sell the little brats scooter. Ha

Unfotunately, it's not just secured loans. The Picture loan ones are bad enough (both of them - the t!t with the football is as bad as the b!nt with the scootah) but don't even get me STARTED on the Admiral Car Insurance ads!

Thoroughly fed up with them. You can see what is happening in UK these people offer cheap rates of interest knowing full well that ultimately they will be increased when everyone has got themselves up to their neck in debt and now people can not pay they get their money back by foreclosing on a mortgage and people than have to get rented property for which they lend money to Landlords and so on. How clever, By the way I have not suffere from this so it is not sour grapes

I hate that picture one too. There are loads of them now and it seems to me they all promise everyone loads of money but don't make it clear enough just how much it will cost them in interest and for how long. The bit about your home being at risk is in minute small print too.

Yes especially one where they use a lie detector tests which they use to prove that getting a loan from them is the absolute truth when the lie detector test they give, results in some totally impossible readings. Grrr...

Yes I hate them too and they make you feel like they are doing you a good turn but really they just get you in deeper or for a very long time like the rest of your life.
