No, he is loyal to his inner circle, the investor class, and Felipe Calderón. He could care less about anyone else.
This disgraceful inaction alone should qualify Bush for one major old-fashioned beatdown. He has destroyed the Rebulican party in only 6 and 1/2 years.
Who cares if it's commuted vs pardoned? You want to focus on reality? The reason Bush gave was that 'the punishment was excessive.' YET...the sentence fell PERFECTLY within federal sentencing guidlines. Bush has been trying to tie the hands of federal judges for years by mandating these SAME sentencing guidelines. The guy HAS ZERO CREDIBILITY. ZERO.

i've got self assurance which you're touching on brokers Ramos and Compean. Their sentencees have been commuted after having served 2 years of 10 and 11 sentences. The mere actuality that individual they shot exchange right into a smugger does not justify the offender acts committed by the brokers. They did no longer checklist the capturing. it somewhat is a criminal offense undeniable and easy. while an agent discharges a weapon he can not %. up his spent brass and shop on as though no longer something got here approximately. it somewhat is strictly what they did. it somewhat is maximum possibly why Bush Jr. Felt that a pardon exchange into no longer justified. Commuting their sentences exchange right into a functional compromise as a results of fact the prosecutions approaches stank to severe heaven. The prosecutor exchange right into a bite of crap named Johnny Sutton. He gave the smuggler immunity from his crimes in exchange for testimony against the brokers. That exchange into irresponsible and bolstered a unfavorable precedent. That smuggle went unfastened and alter into later busted driving yet yet another load motor vehicle crammed with narcotics.

You know that it was just a commute. You know how the system works for political reasons. The pardons come at the end of the presidents last term. Keep the issue alive till then. I hope we love the list when it comes out. It has to better than last time. Keep up the good work.

He didn't pardon Libby, he commuted his jail term. As of yesterday, Libby paid his fine and still faces lose of his ability to practice law. Not much of a pardon.
In the case of the border agents, I hope he does pardon them, the sooner the better. From everything I've read, they got caught up in the system.
Go Fred!

You know America, that is what the courts are for. JUSTICE is suppose to prevail based on the facts. Do not decline jury duty if your called.. its about all of us , doing our part in the system. I alert the american public to a terrible abuse going on .. at least around chicago , where PHONY JUDGES AND PHONY PROSECUTORS are using the COOK COUNTY CIRCUIT courts on a regular business day and trying and convictiing people, placing them in JAIL FOR REAL.. and yet the FBI and other govt agencies ARENT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT THIS. I Was a victim of this back in 2002 , it was a retailation for reporting what now is termed a terrorist cell in the chicago area. It was a harrassment and intimidation into shutting me up and all was DEFINITLY REPORTED AS PUBLIC CORRUPTION.. and never seemingly investigated.
The man who posed as the judge, was not a judge or a lawyer and was not an appointee either. Turns out he wasnt in the CIA Or any legitimate body of govt. the Prosecutor turned out to be a former govt agent with a private investigation company. I reported all the same to the presiding judge at the court house, the inspector general of the State of il and to the FBI and the State police, as of last thursday, five years later, this man has never been arrested or prosecuted andsomehow.. seems to now have a cushy fake job as some type of investigator. No amount of pointing him out or his voice has captured him, I think he finances part of the harrassment against me.
This is true and correct. I state all this on the internet as the local cook county authorities do not protect the public from corruption, and in fact allow it to grow 10 fold.

I doubt it seriously. Those border agents are not in his base of haves and have mores and are totally expendable to him as is the US Military. He just does not care about what happens in either case. They are pawns for his use and nothing more.
Scooter on the other hand is useful. Besides, he might talk and tell far more than Bush and Cheney want him to say. It is a corrupt administration and the corruption goes all the way to the top.

Commuted not pardoned, though it's still a slap in the face to the U.S. justice system & the American people.
He won't pardon the border guards. Just like he won't stop Duane Chapman (Dog the Bounty Hunter), Tim Chapman, and Leland Chapman from being extradited to Mexico for trial on "kidnapping" charges when they arrested Andrew Luster, a convicted violent serial rapist.
He wants his "American Union" deal with Mexico, regardless of the cost to Americans.

Bush's loyalties lie in Mexico. They are his first priority. Why would he want to stop the invasion of criminals? Why do we place limitations on Border Patrol who keep the drug smuggling cartel and kidnappers of our youth from invading our country? Our Border Patrol should have every right to protect themselves and be equally armed. If they had the right to shoot to kill at the border, there would be a very fast slow down of illegals crossing our borders. Our Border Patrol deserve much better than they're receiving.
We can thank Homeland Security for this injustice - supervised by the leaders in our country.
