Are there any recomended good free interface driven tools to use with mysql and would make setting up mysql databases easier?

I use MySQL Control Center which is excellent. Download it for free from http://www.mysql.com

Try MySql-Front. It's free, and it's a front-end interface to MySQL. I think that's what you're looking for.
