You are RIGHT. The Hindus say that the only one qualified to talk about and teach the reality of God is someone who has actually "realized" God. Since such people are few and far between, it certainly is NO surprise that NOBODY seems to know ANYTHING about the reality of God, and so we are all going around and around in circles, like the old joke about the drunk circling the lamppost round and round, looking for the ten-dollar bill he lost on the next block over, because "there's more light here"!
However, there is HOPE. If you TRULY wish to know about God, you may look up "Ramakrishna Paramahansa", a TRUE man of God. He actually attained God, and, as well, was TOTALLY dedicated to the TRUTH, so everything he said about God, you can believe, (even though he was a Hindu, and you probably are not). When one attains to God, the knowledge is UNIVERSAL...all religious paths lead to the SAME GOAL.
I can give you one VERY useful tidbit of wisdom from him: "Maintaining the habit of truthfulness in everyday life is the very BEST spiritual practice in this age of falsehood and spiritual darkness". This is because God is TRUTH; thus if you adhere to the TRUTH, you cannot help but come to the feet of God; this is the actual meaning of the saying "The truth will set you free".

That is very correct if he wanted us on strings he would have made us all with strings. The spirits and Humans have a right to choose... heaven or hell its your pick... take it or don't its still going to be decided for you.. The lord never holds a sin that is repented in his name... that is why in Islam you always get 10x more your reward when you do good deed and 1x a sin when you do a bad deed.. Sins are recorded but can be removed.. good deeds are never removed the book of the lord is accurate and consistant for each human being he knows all and sees all... and if Jesus was god who was taking care of teh universe when he was here... oh ya his father... sure he only had one kid.. hahahaha
Surely the lord never sleeps, drinks, tires, bleeds or even goes to the bathroom I am positive Jesus did all those things!

you seem to be stuck on finding or proving there are no perfect Christians - your right there are none - we all sin the point is that we are trying to learn how not to sin - we will never be perfect in this life but we still need to strive for it, that way we are always moving in the direction of Jesus - you stop trying to get better and just dont care anymore you start moving in the direction of the devil
there are plenty of good Christians that are really trying to do God's will, give them a chance and they might be able to teach you about Christianity - if you are really interested that is

You know this is where the concept of God's Grace enters the picture. Jesus was the only human to every go through life without committing a single sin. For the rest of us life is a mine field of sin by commission (free will) or sin by omission (failing to act upon opportunities to minister to others).
We don't learn to love God from other human beings we learn to love God by spending time in His presence. He speaks to humanity through the Bible and through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit when we pray. If we open our eyes to His blessings we see more and more each day how He is activly taking care of each person.
Bottom line: Christians aren't perfect but by God's grace we are forgiven.

There is one piece of history in Christianity that even Christians don't know. The term "Christians" was created by the Greeks of Rome. They named the followers of Christ like this because they were "like Christ". So when you look in the Bible in the New Testament, you find books like "Phillippians", "Ephesians" "Thessalonians". These books were written for the people of Phillipi, Ephesus, and Thessalonica. These are names of countries before Spain came along and gave them new names. But as people of the USA are called "Americans" instead of "usa-ans", so people who were (in Bible times) like Christ were called "Christ-ians".
Those who say that they are when they're not, are (in my book) liars and hypocrites. Your second line brings me to my final point. God gives us free will to decide whether we will follow Him or follow are own paths. But there is a price. Those who do not follow Christ in everything that He says will not follow him into Heaven. Think of it this way:
You've got a Chevy truck. When you take it to the car shop to get a tune-up, they don't give you Chevy parts. Instead, they give you Jeep parts. Now, for the tune-up, those parts will work with minor difficulty. But suppose that each time you went to the repair shop, you got another piece for a Jeep when you should've gotten a piece for your Chevy. Eventually, you will be telling your friends about your Chevy and they will look at you and say, "That looks like it has more parts of a Jeep than a Chevy. How in the world do you expect to keep going on something that runs half and half on two different makes and models of vehicles?" And there you have it. People who say they are Christians yet follow their own heart instead of God, will start to look more and more like what is around them and people quickly spot the difference. The part that is hard for some is to walk up to the fakers and tell them that what they are doing is fake.

If you are so convinced Christianity is wrong, why do you ask silly questions about it? Do you have to try that hard to convince yourself?
To answer your question, no one is free of sin. No one free of sin will ever teach you anything.

Orion,
No, God expects us to follow his commandments, He set down. He gave to Moses, to forward them on to each of us. If others fail to practice what God has set forth, then they have issues, not us. We are all God's children, and only He is our judge and our jury.... He has the final say in matters. If other have problems in their lives or if others teaching practices are'nt how we have been taught, or what we believe,,,,, then they will have their day, before the Almighty,,,,not us. If we do what God commands of us, and if we lead the life He's set down for us, then it don't matter what others do.....they are not our problem..... God will deal with them. We just have to keep our faith, and read the scriptures, and do the Christian things set down by Him..... There is only one Judge and one Jury, and only one who we all have to answer to, ... and on that judgement day, He will deciede our fate. No one else. So we just have to lead our lives as Jesus did when He walked among us. So if your at the movie, or driving your car, or at the PTA meeting with your child's teachers or whatever your doing ..... just do it as if God His-self were sitting right next to ya..... and trust me,,,,,, You'll be just fine. :) :) God Bless.

Actually, you're not supposed to "learn" from anyone how to believe in god and worship him (regardless what religion you follow). God gave human beings superior brains so they would choose the right path all by their own, and he sent prophets just to be our guides and teachers..
Good luck finding the truth :)

you learn christianity from Jesus, not people.
you are right ..there are alot of people in this world who claim they are something they are not....but it is not limited to the christian arena...this problem is everywhere....
to get the truth, go to the source of it....look to the bible for truth, not man....Jesus predicted that false prophets and teachers would arise and ruin the gospel...you are just witnessing this prediction coming true.
stay away from fake people...read the bible- maybe a few chapters a day..start in the new testament...you will see what true christians are supposed to be like

where in the world did you get that information from??? that is not true!
God wants people to learn about Him (not particularly Christianity) through the Bible and through others who can teach His Word to them. no one is perfect and everybody sins, but if someone was a true believer, they would not put sin over God. everybody sins but asks God for forgivness.
