Well, i've often read here that they had taken Accutane in the past and it worked well, but then, after a few years, their acne came back and they would take another round of Accutane again. Did anyone get good lasting results after taking just 1 batch?

I have. I had my Accutane treatment 19 years ago for acne that occurred in the t-zone of the face. I've never had a single pimple on my forehead since. I have gotten a couple pimples on my nose and a few on my chin since, but I've been at least 98% clear, I'd say.

Accutane is not magic but many think so. It is used as a last resort treatment. However, because of people wanting "perfect" skin have demanding it's use and too many doctors have prescribed it.

Accutane is a dangerous drug. It is not something to take unless acne is extreme and everything else has failed.

Because of over use now there are rules for prescribing the drug which were not in place becore.

Accutane has a prem,. effect on sebaceous glands. The goal of accutane is to bring the acne condition to a point that is can be managed by other means at the least, and clear skin at the most.
