change your address and fingers crossed they'll not change it over on your new licence. other than that it's 3 years me thinks

the points will stay on your driving licence for 4 yrs from the date committed, however insurance companies only class them as live for the first 3yrs. you can contact the dvla to ask if they can be removed after 3 yrs.

an sp30 is on youre license for 3 yrs.but cant have them taken of for 4 yrs.so 4 yrs basically.
