If i was in a backpackers by myself, would you come and talk to me?

Im just wondering how easy it would be to meet people if i travelled by myself. Im a 20 year old female from Australia and i want to get away from everything at home because it is boring me and i want a fresh start and to meet new people..

People would come and talk to you. Am not sure though if you would like to talk to all these people wanting to come and talk to you. Without dampening your sense of adventure, I am giving you caution about trusting strangers. Con men don't look like con men (and women).
