And how much protein is in them?

Kashi bars are usually good. I'm not sure about the sugar, but they're high protein and whole grains and natural. Any sugar that is in them is purely natural, no high fructose corn syrup, or corn syrup, etc. I had a coupon for a free "health" bar with a soy milk coupon and didn't get it. One of the first five ingredients was high fructose corn syrup. No thank you.

Usually, I just buy granola and fruit and grian bars (Trader Joe's brand from Trader Joe's) to have with me when I'm out and need a snack. I usually get the protein I need from my meals, though the bars are great to have on hand.

I usually go with Clif bars. I'll be honest I forgot their sugar content, but they are high in fiber and protein. This would be great if trying to lose weight, as fiber fills you up faster. If I'm not mistaken, the Clif bars had 15 grams of protein, and 250 total calories.

These would be great as a single meal/snack if on a weight-loss/exercise program.
