I know this sounds crazy, but it works: sweeten lemonade with sugar it'll curve your sugar cravings, and even supress your appitite a little bit. Also, try chewing mint gum when you have a craving.

As far as arms and abs: lift weights, exercise with dumbells, do different types of crunches, invest in a stability ball, and try pilates!

Good Luck!

I know a lot about this subject but you have not given much information about yourself. Age, weight, medical conditions etc. Sugar wants more sugar if you are addicted to it like I was. There is never enough in my case. Once I eat it I set up the craving for more. Sugar has no value regarding nutrition etc. Processed sugar can cause all kinds of problems. So ask people who know what they are talking about. You see so many adds on weight loss and that industry is a multi Billion dollar business that cares only about making money not on your health. Weight loss pills and fad diets don't work. If they did the whole world would be skinny as a tooth pick.
With me I found that the stuff I eat was keeping me from feeling my feelings of the past that needed to be processed. Look deep in side and you will find the answer.

Fruits that are mostly sweet will not help.

I reduce my sugar intake by reducing it a little at a time.

People who does a drastic change or try to stop completely or switch to artificial sweeteners are mostly not successful in stopping their sugar cravings. Because they need a will power that is as strong as steel.

When you reduce sugar bit by bit, you will one day find most things too sweet for you. You may even wonder how on earth you could consume those foods before.

I still take some sugar only when it is necessary for the food to have it. Otherwise I can live without it now.

I know that they say to ease sugar cravings you are supposed to eat carrots, since they are sweet. But if that doesn't work, they make tons of different products that are really sweet, but have few calories, like the 100 calorie packs, rice cakes (they come in such good flavors now that you don't even think of it as a health food (my favorites are Cinnamon Toast and Chocolate Peanut Butter)), non-fat ice creams, and such. Once you go to the grocrey store, check out the snack food aisle and read the nutrition facts on anything that sounds good. I'd say anything from 0-150 calories is pretty good, since depending on the calories, you can sometimes go over the serving suggestions to "get your fix."
As for the exercise, any form of weight lifting is good for arms (hand weights or even canned foods work) and as are sit ups/crunches for your stomach (and using an exercise ball during workouts and even sitting can help out your abs). If you join a gym, they have special machines that can help, but the cheapest way is to just use the at-home stuff you already have.

I have a serious sweet tooth as well, and its just gets worse once a month (you know) but even just everyday I want chocolate alot & chips, lol.

...Its impossible to cut it out cold turkey because then your just going to binge, the best thing I would recommend (which really is working for me) is to get some sugar-free fudge bars (ice cream bars 40 calories) or the 100 calories packs of cookies (most places have them, safeway, giant, target, etc.) or just get your regular craving item but only eat 1/2 of it.

ALSO another thing to do that really works for me is I wont allow myself to have the sweets everyday, it has to be come a reward not a regular, you know. It helps with the self control without depriving yourself.

Good luck.

You have to work out why you are craving sugar. Your body usually craves exactly what it needs, but if you just love sweets and eat loads of them thats highly unlikely! Its really not healthy to eat too much sugar, try reminding yourself of that. Sit ups/scrunches are great for working out your stomach. If you buy some weights it will usually come with work outs for your upper body.

I too have sugar cravings but indulge in them daily in a limited way but also take a good amount of fiber. Absorption of sugar into blood through the intestines is reduced in the presence of fiber.

Use Stevia as a replacement for sugar. No carbs.

The sugar craving comes from eating too much carbohydrates and not enough protein. Try introducing proteins in every meal starting with breakfast. If you have protein rich breakfast that is the best way to start the day.

Strawberries for the sugar craving. Sit ups for your tummy, and low eight fast rep dumbells for your arms.
