Instead of complaining parents need to start controlling there children instead of letting other people do it. From the Internet to TV parents should spend more time watching there children and stop passing the buck parents have become lazy they want other people to do the job they need to be doing.

While I understand your objection, it is the responsibility of the parents to 1) monitor what your children are watching, 2) protect them from this type of content. There isn't a cable company around these days that doesn't offer parental controls. I lock my tv when my daughter is watching it. She has a 'favorites' button on the remote, which is all she can use, and goes only to Disney, Nickelodeon and a few other mom-approved channels.

Not sure what country you are from but that type of show isnt allowed in the US unless its on a cable channel such as hbo and even then it is very limited etc.
But seriously, how is your child going to be in any way damaged by seeing such a thing? He/ she will be exposed to it eventually not to mention its a perfectly natural act in the first place. If your child was confronted with such a thing wouldnt it be better to use it as a teaching tool rather than trying to keep them from ever expeiriencing the world. How could they possibly ever be prepared if you shelter them from everything.

ok people here are forgetting that this person said 11 am NOT 11 pm and they said THEY saw the inappropriate program not their children. Another thing, sure children find out about sex sooner or later, but I am glad i found out about it in a clean and proper way from my parents and not from some sick channel showing me people having "steamy sex" like someone said in one of their answers. Sex is a good thing as long as it is seen in a pure way and it isn't done with whips and strange objects that inflict pain, really if you like pain you're just sick, get help. I think that defines whether we are humans or animals.

Young children should be under their parents' supervision, and should be in bed asleep LONG before 11:00 PM when adult programming goes on. If you don't want your children watching this stuff, cancel your cable subscription and play games with them. (and put them to sleep at a reasonable hour!)

I am in total agreement with you. Not to sound like a prude or a religious nut, but movies that are too violent or have sexual content should be reserved late at night when the kids are in bed. I think as time goes on, it is apparent that television stations are less and less responsible for what they put on TV.
On the same token as parents, one needs to monitor what you children watch and not rely on HBO to do the right thing.

Don't blame freedom of speech, parents should monitor what their kids watch. The responsibility for bringing up kids lies with parents, not society.
